Welcome at wonderful magical show Chineses New Year Zodiac Animal, models from 9 countries, outfits in Avantgarde, Fantasy, Haute Couture styles. Dragon Sanctuary sim, Feb 12, that happen with the actual real Chinese New Year - Welcoming the Year of the Ox.
Really was a big honor to work with everyone on this special project.

After hours of wondering each other we have escaped to other spheres. No time limits our exploring and there is no existing flesh that matters. Sweet sonnets are playing quietly and there is only white sheet between us as we rest side by side.
The music stops playing and I get up from the bed. You take my hand in yours while you are still laying naked on the bed and kiss it lightly. Electricity, I still feel it. I walk to the shelf and push the play. Randomly it starts playing again and I come back to you. You pull me close to you and hold near. We swing together to the music and your hands warm me as the room is feeling chilly. In my heart I know that you have bewitched my heart, but only because I let you. You have bound yourself to me eternally as I am part of you now. It's a unity of lovers.

Sorry for the lack of updates lately. I've been so busy trying to back up my hard drives for a new computer upgrade on Monday. I'm going from my C2D 1.86Ghz processor to a new Intel 2.4Ghz Quadcore processor and a new motherboard. Anyway, enjoi.

Wilbert de Joode (1955) is a veritable research scientist of bass pizzicato and bowing techniques. A self-taught musician, he has been playing the double-bass since 1982. He began working in groups that improvised within a jazz framework. Other musicians were soon drawn to his idiosyncratic style, and in the mid 80s he played in groups led by Vera Vingerhoeds, Armando Cairo and Ig Henneman where he further developed his improvisation skills. He came into contact with such musicians as J.C.Tans, Rinus Groeneveld, Michiel Braam, Han Bennink, Han Buhrs (Schismatics) and Ab Baars.
De Joode is currently one of the most active bass players on the European improvised music circuit. His individual style and musicality transforms the double bass into an equal partner in the most varied ensembles. A personal tone colour, exploration of the outer registers, quirky improvisations and the use of gut strings contribute to an instantly recognizable and intriguing sound. The seventeen improvised pieces on his first solo cd Olo (distributed by ToonDist ( www.toondist.nl ) show how rich and complex his sound on the double bass is.

Au Grand Palais à Paris, Claire Tabouret, exposition intitulée "D’un seul souffle", les maquettes grandeur nature, esquisses et travaux préparatoires des six vitraux qu’elle a réalisés pour la cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris. Lauréate en décembre 2024 du concours organisé par le ministère de la Culture, en association avec l’atelier Simon-Marq, elle dévoile les coulisses de ce projet exceptionnel. Chaque maquette reproduit à taille réelle une baie du bas-côté sud de la cathédrale. Réalisés en monotype, technique d’impression que l’artiste pratique de manière fréquente, ils sont enrichis de pochoirs pour les rosaces et motifs décoratifs. Ces projets respectent ainsi la lumière neutre de l’édifice et créent une transition douce avec les vitraux de Viollet le Duc tout en proposant des couleurs vives et équilibrées. Inspirée par le thème de la Pentecôte, symbole d’unité et d’harmonie, Claire Tabouret vous invite à entrer dans l’intimité de son processus créatif et à vivre un moment rare : les coulisses d’une création hors norme.
At Grand Palais in Paris, Claire Tabouret, an exhibition entitled "D'un seul souffle", life-size models, sketches and preparatory work for the six stained-glass windows she created for Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris. Winner in December 2024 of the competition organized by the Ministry of Culture, in association with Atelier Simon-Marq, she reveals the behind-the-scenes of this exceptional project. Each model is a life-size reproduction of a bay in the cathedral's south aisle. Produced in monotype, a printing technique frequently used by the artist, they are enriched with stencils for the rosettes and decorative motifs. These projects respect the neutral light of the building, creating a soft transition with Viollet le Duc's stained glass, while offering bright, balanced colors. Inspired by the theme of Pentecost, a symbol of unity and harmony, Claire Tabouret invites you to enter into the intimacy of her creative process and experience a rare moment: behind the scenes of an extraordinary creation.

A dreary spring day in the Tetons...still beats any day in the Midwest :-) Not sure what the yellow ground cover was, but it provided a nice splash of color against those dark skies. One week from today we will be be enjoying some glorious mountain views in Glacier....can't wait to get there!!!! Lost my position at work today thanks to good old union bumping rights, but fortunately for me, I had another position to take; not exactly what I want to do, but in this day and age, I have to be thankful for even having a job :-) Have a great Friday, and as always, thanks for your visits and support. I will catch up with everyone soon.

UNITY Aarhus has 652 rental apartments with private balcony or terrace, built in 2023. You can choose between three sizes with 1, 2 or 3 rooms – all with kitchen and bathroom. All apartments and common areas are designed in collaboration with the British design studio Tom Dixon. The lounge areas include community kitchens, roof terraces, gym, sauna, movie room, café and a studying or working space called uWork.
