Built between the years 1905 and 1908 in Oak Park, Illinois, Unity Temple is often considered one of Frank Lloyd Wright's most important structures. Wright's use of a single material, reinforced concrete, and his efficient use of space make Unity Temple one of the first modernist buildings in the world and influenced many future modernist and post-modernists.

The Atom Brick Unity Temple set highlights the total structure and use of casted concrete to create areas of interest on the façade. Builders will gain appreciation for the innovation of a building designed and built over 100 years ago.

Unity Rider @ Osoyoos, British Columbia

The Unity Rider carries the nine feathers that represent the nine known Indian bands of the 1880’s. The Unity symbolism originated as part of the modern North American Aboriginal Unity Ride ceremony.

Designed by the local First Nations artist Virgil “Smoker” Marchand and Chief Clarence Louie of the Osoyoos Indian Band.

The Maryland Military Department came together to recognize the diverse backgrounds and cultures of its members through the seventh annual Unity Day celebration at the Fifth Regiment Armory in Baltimore, Md., April 26.

Unity Day is an opportunity to observe the different ethnic backgrounds that make up the Military Department and educate the members on what makes each culture unique. This year’s theme was ‘Recognizing Diversity and Religion – one nation, many voices.’
