Todd's Unique Dining - Gail's Dish: Seared Sea Scallops with Wild Mushroom potatoes in a Pistachio Butter sauce.
Oh. My. Gosh.
I DIED and went to heaven, almost.
Scallops were nicely seared, but they are nicely seared and cooked at any fine dining establishment, and should be.
What made this dish was the sauce - this wonderful pistachio butter sauce that was littered with little bits of pistachio that further drove my taste buds KARAZY! These were the BEST scallops I've had in my life, hands down. =)
Oh, but it doesn't end there.
The potatoes in the center was like a little mountain of heaven that I died and went on after I ate the scallops (okay, that made no sense, and was lame, but whatever. ^_^). I don't know why I don't mix mushrooms into my mashed potatoes before, because that's the way I'm going to make them now - with shitake mushrooms, morels, and why NOT throw in some of them enoki mushrooms shooting from the top of it? Because it IS that good.
I licked this plate CLEAN. =)

This unique, beautiful, handmade, classic, one of a kind, woman’s bracelet was handcrafted by me. It has snowflake obsidian stars, red faceted Czech glass, and a red fancy Czech glass focal bead. It is 7 inches. It is finished off with seed beads and a solid silver lobster claw clasp. It reminds me of stars shinning at night.
