Did you got out? It’s still crazy cold here in Chicago, to the point that I really don’t feel like going out in the morning till it warms up. Despite the bad mood I felt today we might have something interesting. And it happened! It didn’t last long but it was amazing. Really love when the cold and warm collide. What do you think?
It's about a month and a half before my summer trip. I have my plans planned and my maps mapped. The one thing that is always up in the air is exactly where I'll camp.
Typically, I free-camp in various BLM or National Forest, etc. spots. While most are fine for tents, sometimes I feel that I like really use a car-camping set up.
Lots of folks do this, and it makes sense. You're already in a safe and enclosed space, what need is there for a tent?
And I get that, I understand that thinking. But I'm in the car all day. All damn day - sunrise to sunset. Sure, I am out photographing every opportunity I get, but the car is still my base.
Sometimes (like at night) I just need to get the hell out of the car and exist somewhere else. The tent is perfect for this. Sure, I have to drag it out, set it up, throw all my sleeping gear into it, but the reward is that I'm not in my car.
I hear the coyotes, the owls, I feel the breeze and hear the rain. A car muffled and even excludes much of that.
But still, sometimes I kind of need to stay somewhere and sometimes a tent just won't cut it. Begrudgingly, I'm sorting this out.
There are an endless ad nauseam of videos on YouTube fearing various conversions and hacks to make your car even more comfortable than your own bed. People are incredibly proud of the work they've done - and some of it is pretty amazing.
In the end, I just want to get away from the car and be in a tent. Get away from the camera, the film, my tangle of USB cords, and get outside. Or, really, even more outside.
And soon I will.
Oh the photo? Well, I wanted to show you how the land that seems so endlessly flat really isn't. also, that's a really swell tree. I was torn on the choice of focus, but I'm glad I did what I did. I can get a crispy photo of a tree any time I want. But this was something a little different.

This is a small sea cave on the eastern side of Horseshoe bay beach, Bermuda. This beach is rated as one of the most beautiful in the world. I hoped to be able to capture some of that beauty. The water has bewitching turquoise color and the sand is powdery with a slight pinkish undertones from the coral.
Today we had an important meeting, but didn't wake up.
They said it was cool, but I knew it wasn't at all. I went back to sleep and dreamt of the things I should have done, of the morning I had lost, the meeting missed, the words we didn't share.
Today I had planned to spend the afternoon doing other talks, but it's hard to talk on certain days, words just don't come out, your voice sounds fake, even tryed to rehearse my speech in front of the mirror, thing which I never do and should have never tryed, it killed the last crumbs of will I had to do this. I'll stay home instead.
Today my dear friend will leave town and who knows how many months will pass before we'll meet again. I miss her.
Today I found out I have a negative moon, didn't surprise me a bit.
Crank this morning,some subtle light coming through and a crack in the clouds.Not as colourful as I was hoping for but some nice cloud action.

The delicate murmur of cascading waters. A tone of music, as well as a tone of ... color ... is made out of the finest sterling silver. And the poet woke up !
I'm trying to find the name of this waterfall. Its location is by the steep road going down toward Hveragerði (Kambarnir), and the river is Hengladalaá [it's Icelandic, actually]. It might be that the falls don't have a name yet.

A multi-'eclectic' Interior, which sits in a modernised, revamped Victorian settlement grasped with gratification to set back with an oriental withdraw. My clients at Adonis Heights gave me, the Head director, and Interior Designer of Grandeur Decor, the opportunity to develop this space into a mystic, to give the full reins in creating a space which makes an accommodating house, become a home. Surely a challenge, but I left my clients weak at their knees and excited!
