While strolling along the tributary, I encountered the mute swans we had seen being chased off the week before. They were very close to shore this time, so I was able to put myself in a good spot for some good close-ups. It wasn't until I was processing the photos that I realized one of the pair (seen here) is missing the tip of its upper beak. Gives it a bit of an underbite look.

Now that I've discovered a "Dogs with underbites" flickr group, this picture is going straight there...

Something makes me want to call him Gordo... and then run :) That underbite shows some mighty impressive teeth.

 

That said this croc did not move the whole time I was their watching the Wildebeest, waiting to see if they would cross the fecking river. Which while they piled up about 5k thick I would guess... *photo to come* they were too chicken to just get on with it.

 

Sigh... Any of you who think I have any ability with nature photography are wrong, I haven't the patience for it :)

Anna was a born a breeder dog. Because of her massive underbite she was going to be put down. (they only wanted to breed the best) she was rescued and is now in foster care. I WANT HER!!
