He had been chilling under the Christmas tree for some reason, so I decided I'd be really clever and put a bow on his head. He, however, did not take well to the idea and instead tried to tear it apart.
This is the skull of a common domesticated european cow. This particular skull is the most common of the cow species. These cows are found on many farms in the US. These animals are most commonly classified as "Bos Taurus." This particular cow had an underbite, with teeth of varying sizes; smaller in front and larger in back. This cow has a long face for grinding food to have easier digestion.
Auntie Amy did NOT style Oreo's hair for the homecoming dance; nor did she apply any make-up...this, however, did not keep Oreo from making appearances in several porch portraits. He needs to be taught how to dance, maybe then he'll be allowed to go and shake his tail-fur...
Just a few stuffies with ferocious underbites. Okay... maybe not ferocious. It's all fleecey squishiness.

This is Doogin, an 8 year old male Labrador Retriever mix. Doogin is an absolute love. He came to us from Animal Control, where visitors and lookers routinely passed him by. Perhaps it was his age. At eight years, Doogin bears the little dings and nicks and scars that accumulate with time. He's a grand old soul, that's for certain. We've listed Doogin as a Labrador retriever mix, but Great Dane comes to mind when he turns his marvelous head. Then there's his winsome underbite, which makes Doogin look like he's always smiling. It's a safe bet to say that Doogin hasn't led the easiest life. At present, we're treating him for heartworms. While he recuperates, our staff and volunteers walk him slowly along our shaded trails, for which he seems ever so grateful. To sit on a bench next to Doogin, rubbing his silky ears and hearing his gentle sighs, ranks among the finest moments of our day. He's that special. If your heart goes out to older dogs, Doogin will surely break it. Rarely have we met a dog so sweet, so gentle, and so deserving as Doogin. Come meet him.
I volunteered at PAWS Atlanta. I took photos of some of the dogs and cats that need homes. I thought I'd also remind people you can find great pets at shelters and in rescue groups. And of course, help control the pet population, please spay and neuter your pets!!

No idea how Fanta got her name, but this little thing is C*U*T*E. She loves to army crawl right into your lap and she's only about 35 lbs, so she actually is a good lap dog! She has almost a pug/sharpei/pit bull terrier look to her, a true Heinz 57, with a darling little underbite and sweet personality to match her cute outer looks. She appears to really LOVE other dogs. She wanted so badly to play with the dogs in the yard next to her at the shelter. Take home this sweet little red dog today, she won't disappoint you.

Griffon wrapped his lead around these little branches. Unable to untangle himself, he gave up, sat down and pouted (his underbite contributes to the look).

This funny guy was at the Williams Tree Farm, where we went to get our Christmas tree. He kept getting pushed around by the other Llama, even the goats and donkey! Z felt bad for him and made sure he got some attention, which meant the others had to be distracted.
