My man @darcywardo hit me up yesterday and said he wants to join me on my morning Eddie walk today. We decided to run up Carrot Mountain on the westside, I think I've never ran it up and down this fast. He also picked up his @rylo yesterday and he let me play around with it and I even got to download the footage to experience the post editing fun you can have. Amazing little machine and I'm totally sold! Of course what would be a hike without some mace swings up top. Although I might have lost a nipple up there. Sadly on the way down I got an OT shift awarded, no rest for the wicket. Was suppose to go riding with the boys😢.

I’m on Daddy Duty all day today between nights so I knew I wasn’t getting in a workout. So on our morning walk with Eddie I brought the mace along. Have been slacking with my mace swings so I committed on bringing it along for Eddie’s morning walks and combining all my hobbies into one. Only problem was Eddie ditched me halfway up and went pear picking with the girls instead of coming with me to the top. Of course completed my ATG workout right after work and had breakfast while the kids were waking up and we all went on our family walk.

Leg Day. Staggered Squat. The benefit of the staggered squat is that the hips are allowed more freedom to move. Plus, this stance can help you squat deeper thus making you use your muscles through a greater range of motion. In my case, I’m trying to even out muscle mass between the two quads due to muscle atrophy in my injured leg.

A brief history on suspenders. The origin of suspenders can be traced back to France in the 18th century. Back then, it was not acceptable to have the undergarment on show and was still risqué in 1938 when a town in Long Island, New York tried to ban men from wearing them without a coat covering them up. In the 1820s, it was the fashion to wear high waisted trousers that were so high, a belt couldn't be used to hold them up. That is when British designer Albert Thurston designed and manufactured the first known modern suspenders. One of the first U.S patents for suspenders was issued in 1871 by Mark Twain, who happens to be one of the most famous writers of all time. When metal clasps were invented in 1894, suspenders were manufactured to be clipped onto the trousers instead of being buttoned - which was far more comfortable. Suspenders became less popular in the 20th century when trousers were no longer worn so high. That didn't mean that they vanished completely, One particular man kept them alive, but not only alive. He is the source. Because an even lesser known fact is that when you slide those suspenders over your shoulders you instantly increase your strength, testosterone and stamina by 25% and the myth, the legend, the man to thank for that is no other then @kettlebellkarl .
