This is quite a heavy crop due to the abundance of litter and rubbish washed up onto the swans nest. I know they are cute but having beers cans at their feet isnt so attractive!
It is such a shame that so many people still freely deposit their rubbish where ever they see fit.

Although it was chilly when I took this frosty photo, I had such a pure and beautiful feeling straight after I snapped it. I was thinking about how I can’t help but love in spite of peoples unconscious behaviour. It’s just in my nature. I don’t think my work is done (I still get hurt and angry from time to time), but I’m grateful for these glimpses of unconditional love. It’s not something that can adequately be expressed in words. It’s something that you feel in your heart (and solar plexus). Have you had moments like this? I sincerely hope so. ✨
Drought in the Dutch nature reserve Galderse Heide next to the Mastbos (Breda, North Brabant). The dry, but originally swampy terrain is overgrown with the invasive swamp stonecrop or Crassula helmsii plants; these are practically impossible to remove.

In Greek mythology, Narcissus was a hunter from the territory of Thespiae. He was renowned for his beauty and suffered from pride in that he disdained those who loved him. Nemesis, the goddess of retribution, saw this exceptional pride and judged Narcissus as deserving punishment. She lured him to a pool in which he saw his own reflection. He immediately fell in love, never realizing that it was his own image. Unable to leave the beauty of his own reflection, he died there. The Narcissus plant sprang up in that spot.

As I was playing around on the computer, testing out the iMac's photobooth application, my dog Snoops came up to me and planted a kiss on me. Just like that, out of the blue.
How is it that a dog, even a dog that isn't yours, just a dog that's passing by on a crowded street, can make you feel so darn good? I have two words to answer that rhetorical question: unconditional love. If humans had even the remotest ability to exhibit unconditional love like a dog, the divorce rate would plummet, wars would be less common, crime would go down, so much evil in the world would simply vanish -- if humans could exhibit unconditional love like a dog. I bent down to make this photograph and this big fella just left me in a heavy wake of love. We should all be so kind.

(that is, to bring Christ down) 7 "or 'Who will descend into the deep?'" (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: 9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. 11 As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame." 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:1-13)
Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so WE might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!
So you'll KNOW, and not think you're to bad for God to love. The Christian LIFE isn't about how good WE are, because NONE of us are! It's about how GOOD JESUS IS! Because JESUS LOVES US, so much he died in our place and took the punishment for all of our sins on himself. The wages of sin is DEATH, and Jesus took the death WE so richly deserved for us and died in our place. The good news is, there's no more punishment for sin left. WE, you and I were all born forgive as a result of the crucifixion of God himself on the cross that took away the sins of the whole world. All we have to do is believe it, and put your Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That my friends is REAL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! YOU ARE LOVED. ❤️ ✝️ ❤️

In 1906 Dr. Alois Alzheimer discovered a progressive, degenerative brain disease with no known cause or cure that later became known as Alzheimer’s disease. His work was the first to change the common belief that cognitive impairment was a normal part of aging.
The Alzheimer Society of Windsor & Essex Country, founded by the late George Sims and Marilyn Brown-Skinner, chose to mark its 25th anniversary and the centennial of Dr. Alzheimer’s discovery in 2006 with this Monument of Memories, giving people the opportunity to etch memories in stone and celebrate the lives of loved ones. The names that appear are not solely of individuals who have lived with Alzheimer’s disease but who have supported the cause.
This monument also stands to recognize the commitment and sacrifices of Alzheimer caregivers who unconditionally care for Alzheimer and dementia-related sufferers.

FLICKR!!!!!!!!! Its been so long! As you can probably tell, I am here in America with senor Nace - and oh my days so much has happened!!!!
I flew in on saturday (6 whole days ago, i am ashamed to say) from manchester to chicago. I met a really really kind guy called Jon at manchester airport, we watched movies before the flight boarded and we helped each other change terminals at Chicago. I took a sleeping pill on the plane but it did jack shit because I WAS TOO EXCITED!!!!! I arrived at Raleigh, NC late saturday evening and met my baby at the airport, we headed home with some fried chicken and fell asleep in bed pronto.
The next day we decorated Aaron's house FULL of paper chains and christmas lights and paper snowflakes - just like in ELF.
We got a christmas tree and went shopping at Jareds! ;)
THEN we headed out to South Carolina for a few days with some friends Joe and Caroline! We forgot to bring internet but rented home alone and this photo was taken on Joe's dock - he has a boat and we went riding in it and it was AWESOME! we saw dolphins and pelicans and i saw my first palm tree!!! it was soooo hot and my hair went so frizzy but we had so much fun!
now we are back home after a great vacation and are going to get back to WORK! that is, we are going to take 365s everyday and not appear to be dead to everyone who doesnt know where we are.
i am just so happy to be here with my aaron. i missed him SO much!

One of the most photographed statues in Florida, if not America, is a 26-foot tall statue that calls Sarasota home. It commemorates the famous photo that appeared in LIFE magazine of a young U.S. sailor dipping and kissing a nurse in Times Square on the day World War II ended. The statue, Unconditional Surrender, is part of a series of statues created by American artist Seward Johnson and can today be found in Sarasota's Bayfront Park. This statue pays homage to the "Greatest Generation" and the joyful celebrations at the end of the war.
