Although she is there now under maintenance and will do the Christmas runs from Manchester & Liverpool in December, this is one I had in my archives, from 3 years ago .
Flying Scotsman photoshoot, a present from my sister . Unbelieveable experience too ;-)
Why go Pro....hmmm was considering going Pro but when Flickr doesn't work it doesn't give one much instentive....having major issues trying to comment. It takes forever if it does work, mostly error comes up. Bad Panda makes an apperance so often it is unbelieveable. I don't edit so edit programs do me nothing, Stats I hear are more often wrong then right, and I don't use as storage as I back up my photo's on the reg....so why??? I have spoken with several Pro's that have stopped being Pro Hmmmmm Sorry If I only fave I am fed up with trying to comment. (not just me, spoken to several peeps) Yes I'm complaining GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Just because a flower is on it's way out and has no colour doesn't mean it still isn't beautiful. Natural sunlight.
The water of Tahoe is unbelieveably clear, although it takes considerable effort and regulation to keep it so.
If you look carefully, I have a slight 'old lady' moustache.

I found the Prognost-o-scope here in Michael Paul Smith's photostream. It's worth checking out just to see his unbelieveable models.
On the way(train) to Jungfraujoch-Top of Europe.
Sometimes,
Do you feel interesting to find a person who shares the same interest with you?
Have the same faith with you.
When I was on the train, I intended to take a photo of the uphill slope, but just 1 second, I found this man, this was too unbelieveable...
我坐在前往少女峰的火车途中, 我想拍摄一张包含蓝天, 白云, 绿草, 小花的图片, 这角度正适合, 当我一按下快门的时候, 我发现了这个景象, 我觉得时间实在太微妙@
is higher than the sky.
I literally was hanging out the window, taking pictures, while my mom was driving down the road. She was also taking pictures..which was a little more dangerous.
Processing: none besides a crop and the intiial putting together of both shots. I know that sounds unbelieveable.. but that is exactly how it looked..surreal.
The bottom of the second shot is grass that got blurred from zooming by in the car.

Hair up, eyes focused and ready to rumble ! Seen at Sepulveda Basin Wiuldlife Reserve. Note the brightly colored "trash" in the rear. Volunteers/workers have neen thinning the Spring growth and removing trash - SO MUCH trash ! It is truly unbelieveable how thoughtless people have become - you see plastic bottles on the floor adjacent to large trash cans ???
It’s one of these unexpected and unbelieveably sunny days here in south Skye - 21C. The mainland mountains across the Sound of Sleat are clearly defined when zooming in on them across the fields and fence. #HFF!
View from the dunes of Risco El Paso onto the sand-covered mountains right behind the unbelieveably beautiful beach Playa Sotavento, which extends over 5km on the south-east coast of Fuerteventura. If you ever get to Fuerteventura, don't get stuck at the hotel pool... get yourself a rental car and explore this island. Playa Sotavento area is definetly a must-see...
It's really not often I use that word, but then again it's really not often that literally everything comes together like this did...
Another evening at Elgol and the conditions were absolutely Epic, no other word, immense golden warm side light picking out all the details on the rock faces, and illuminating the waves, along with a completely biblical sky due to the stormy nature of the day.
The scarred rock face here although very interesting to look at can look quite drab and can easily be lost in the scene, but as I've seen before here when it catches the sunlight it absolutely glows fiery yellow and really comes to life, not long after we got here it was like someone turning on a massive light switch and it just kicked off in style, I've lost count of the amount of images I got from here but this is definitely one of my faves so far.
When the light died down it looked as that was going to be the lot, I made my way back towards the car park keeping one eye on the conditions, as the sun went under the horizon, though the quite dense cloud we were treated to another ten mins or so of natures lightshow in a completely different really dramatic deep red / purple colour, so I even managed another load of shots from a different location! a truly unbelieveable shoot, I almost felt a bit guilty coming away with so much stuff! (almost)
I'll post the others up in due course.
Lots more images on my personal website here - regularly updated
...what kan I say? I´m full of Love for all this... ♥

To Answer your Questions:
except the little Piece of the Peak I´ve framed with the Note, this Kloud was there like that! Therefore I like and upload it - it was real! Perhaps it`s possible to shop Something like that, yet I guess it wouldn´t feel so lively like the Lightpainting above. And it would bore myself, kause you kan do Everything in PS, but not Everybody kan see the Wonders while they happening... No Problem with PS Piktures, yet my Play and Challenge is to find the little Wonders and make a Photo. It is also better kause you don´t spent to much Time shopping - and there is more Time to make Piktures mainly... ;O)
I´m happy you like it, for me it´s was an unbelieveable funny Koincidence to find it!

Digby the Duck was wandering lonely unlike a cloud
after he found that, after robbing the
banking system,
unlike a well suited executive,
he was being chased by unknown authorities,
and the money he gave his lover
and life partner, Igby,
was spent on a transexual operation,
which wasn't his concern,
but the hormones Igby took
changed him
in ways unbelieveable and
unexpected.
Having put off our Hadrian's wall trip until tomorrow,i decided to head out to Bolam lake.
As the weatherman had predicted a cold grey day,i thought i would come here and catch a moody dark sky.How wrong we both were. The colours today were just magical, the intensity at times was unbelieveable,i just hope the forecast tomorrow is as poor as today's ;)

Well, it's been I don't know how long. I feel like its been forever since I've been to FLICKR, comented, or post anything.
To my FLCIKR friends and contacts, please don't be offended, I haven't forgotten about you!, I've just been so busy, I mean, BUSY.
I have so many shots to still process from my Smokies trip, and some others from the most recent trips to the Glades and the Florida Keys.
This shot here happened about a couple weeks ago, made a trip to Bahia Honda and and it was so unbelieveably hot that I had to wrap a "sort of a bandana" around my head and it was like I had nothing on me, I was sweating like it was rain......I guess, those of you who are South Florida photogs know exactly what I mean..., The light was nice though and I was able to get this one. Not a gallery shot, but I thought it was ok to post.
Hope you all have been doing ok, I'll be seeing you in your photostreams.
As always, thanks for stopping by and looking, I appreciate your coments and critiques.
Have a nice Wednesday.

I couldn't stay away from flickr for too long. I'm off on vacation in two days and have most everything done so I can spend some time here before I go. This was the last time I was in Greece. I was 21 and a bit of a hippy. I remember spending an average of 10 dollars a day for room and board. The Greek hostels were a dollar a day back then. Seems unbelieveable now. I travelled with a backpack, by myself, for a total of 6 months. But I was hardly ever alone. It was one of the best times in my life.
Yes, another Porsche Turbo, this time in black. The number of Porsches in Hong Kong is unbelieveable, you could think the car is being build here.
I had an unbelieveable opportunity to meet with a friend from Groningen The Netherlands, Who happens to be a well known photographer in his country and gaining more reputation in other European countries.

Kars and I walked around Saen Saeb Canal Area, witnessing lives and people living by the canal.
Then we continued walking to Bo Bae Market area not far from China Town
We ran into train station by chance plus a little help from a kind woman.
One thing I observe from a successful professional photographer like him.. The reason he is different from amateur photographers...is that he is more patient, he has a good vision of what will happen. For example when he knows that two trains will come this way.. he moved close to model, and when the train comes, he's got a shot.
Kars is also master of light and contrast. He likes straong contrast on portrait photo, so he taught me how to look for it!
Nice to meet you, i am sure I am now improving after this shoot!
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coquimbo
In Coquimbo, it is all about the harbor and fishing, and birds and seals, we saw so many boats i just could not help myself....i took photos of them all. ..... And they have a fish market that is unbelieveable, of course everything is fresh and the variety is beyond incredible!
Our first evening out west was spectacular! When we flew into Vegas, I saw that the sky was full of wispy clouds, so I knew sunset might be spectacular. After doing some scrambling across slickrock on Rainbow Vista at Valley of Fire State Park in Overton, Nevada, we found the "fire wave," as made popular by Isabel Synnatschke. We spent most of the afternoon around there, photographing the awesome patterns and waiting for the good light. Sure enough right as the sun set, the sky lit up the clouds with a beautiful orange hue and the slickrock began to glow around us. It was unbelieveably beautiful, and to this day it's still hard to describe. It was one of the most magical light moments I've experienced! Thanks Lord!
I also got several nice pictures looking the other direction, which I'll share later. If you're in the Las Vegas area, this is definitely a place not to miss!

This is the rural GweeLIn, I never expect to be look like these. Until my student's Ms Zhu sent me the image. In my impression; most rural area are very popullated!!
You see the recent earthquake in XiChuan; 1XX,XXX people died in the Wen Chuan township. That area is within the basin of XiChuan, yet the town with over 3millions people inhabiting. It is surprise to see this spectacular scenery in China today!!
She requested me to walk through on the post processing. She have done some work using Picasa; but far from satisfactory.
Then I did it with crop; sharpen; Color correction; contrast; Saturation.
After that; I use Corel paintshop pro Xi to resize; sharpen; clarify; Brightness & Contrast; Noise reduction; sharpen. To produce this final work.
Anyway please joint me to thank her for sharing her discovery & permission to share her treasure here.
I thank you for your support & visit.
You are always appreciated.

Highest Position - Explore #3 | 02.06.2009 (Thank you all :)))
This is a "MUST take" photo for anyone who have been to this place. This temple is totally invaded by the roots of giant banyan trees and ficus religiosa. The construction of this temple is pretty complex however super awesome... truly tomb raider liked (where's angelina jolie i wonder?!?)! The monument & foundation are actually in quite a bad state. Every time i roamed into a room, my heart skipped a bit.. wondering will i get a big stone dropping right on top of my head! Nonetheless, highly recommended place to go! ;) i give it 4 out of 5 stars.. blame the heat & humidity for the loss of the other star :D

About
Ta Prom Temple in Siem Reap, Cambodia
This temple has been left untouched to show an example of the appearance of the Khmer Monuments when they were “discovered” in the 19th century and because the roots are now the support of the monument. The temple was surrounded by a wall of 3km long to accommodate the 12640 inhabitants mentioned in the temple’s inscriptions.
