me, washing teapot: Didn't you just wash this?
Andrew: Yes, but only the outside.
me: But the inside is the dirty part.
Andrew: People only see the outside. If you don't wash it, it improves the flavours of the tea.
me: It's a nonporous teapot. It just leaves a gross film on the inside.
Andrew: Yeah, which improves the flavour.
me: It leaves a skin on my tea.
Andrew: There are two schools of thought on this issue.
me: All these years I thought you were just really bad at washing the teapot.
Andrew: I can't believe you just accused me of poor teapot cleanliness.
