Had the absolute pleasure of photographing two good friends' wedding out in Dinosaur Park, Alberta. The setting was unbelievable, Phil and Marc looked amazing, and the place was overrun with extremely friendly people. I just can't say enough good things about the whole weekend.
Oh, and it was hot. Very hot.
Check out Mr. Chris Tait's photostream to see his take on it all. As always, it was awesome to shoot with, and learn from, him.
Many more to come over the next little while.

Strobist: 580 EX on camera dialed down, 580EXII and 430EX on stands behind models at 30-45 degrees probably dialed in around twice the power of the on camera flash. Fired via Canon's proprietary IR system.
I couldn't believe this place! While my family and I were driving up the hills of California, we spotted this house (if you can call it that)! They have some of the most beautiful architecture in California.

Trust me! Only if you were there, could you never feel the shock of the atmosphere. The picture is pretty enough. But, it's still not enough. Get there, and it will take away your breath.
Close your eyes and imagine not only a superb natural, undyed agate but also the most elegant variation of colors it can shows.
Open your eyes now. Verify tha it not only exists but it was insanely carved in a form of a bowl that is only about 1/16 inches thick in the top edge. This is unique! Only an old skilled guy crazy enough to risk hours of hard job and beautiful stones can do this. What is even more incredible is that it costs less than a reasonable Murano glass!
All over the San Juan airport there are these old school arcade games. Every other one was a Ms Pac-Man/Galaga combo. Why don't they have these in every airport?!
'logo designer im' one of the most searched terms on the internet today...thanks to you guys out there !!
All of us running out of natural gas - and turning to Solar Energy...I presume this logo will still be popular in the centuries to come...!!!
so I'm taking out the recycling Sunday afternoon. all is quiet. all is still. all of a Sudden, I hear BANG!!! I thought it was a gun Shot. or an explosion or something. a car had stopped and (he couldn't speak English) he pointed to look behind me. OMG a Deer had Crashed into the Neighbors door. Glass everywhere. deer Twitching and Moaning .Big deer. Thank God no antlers. He eventually died. he must have broken his neck, back who knows what else. I know one thing. if I had left the house 2 seconds later. i would be Dead!!!
That Deer would have Ran me Down and killed me. we still haven't figured out why he did this. something happened. he hit the door with such Force, he took the main door off its Hinges.!!
(This is a "Ring" video. so the quality is not that great. it did capture something Crazy though.)
Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the video can be enlarged. maybe if you download it (if you can) then view it on your PC. it may be better.

Handheld shot of a parkade downtown.
Notice the weird glow on the railings and concrete members. It makes me wonder what kind of paint was used!

Catching up on yesterday's prompt. Used (one of) my favorite colors--orange, and matched it up with one of my least favorites (hot pink). Thank goodness my daughter wore those pants on her birthday-LOL...it actually doesn't look too bad. The title is an OOOOOLLLLDDDD one from the $1 bin at Joanns a few years back...it was pure serendipity that it had a touch of the aqua to pick up on her shirt!
Luckily there wasn't much traffic when this mum had to take her child in a buggy into the road to make her way round a car parked on the pavement.
