The Umeda Sky Building is near the center of Osaka and one of the most noticeable buildings in its skyline. It's comprised of two tall skyscrapers bridged together, in a sort of arch, I guess.

Something of this stature is hard to take a decent scale shot of, especially when you don't know the city well enough to know where to get the best "skyline" shot, so I just stood at the bottom, widened the angle, and looked up. The processing is inspired by the cover of Sounds From the Ground's High Rising album. I did a far worse job.

I got to meet up with Yuki, our exchange student, in Osaka on my way to Tokyo.
