A tritanium mining outpost simply called ‘The Colony’ has been established on Aries IV, a Mars-like planet at the edge of Federation space. The surface of Aries IV is deadly without a spacesuit.
Harsh conditions make mining in this world a dangerous prospect. The workers of the colony voluntarily put themselves at risk to produce a critical resource for the Federation. But, a recent incursion into Federation space by pirates meant the loss of much-needed supplies intended for the colony – including a seismic stabilizer. Without this, the number of quakes rocking the planet will continue to increase, leading to the collapse of mines and loss of personnel.

From our Peanuts plush collection. This is another Nakajima Snoopy,* this time with a snowboarding motif.
Snoopy has a fetching yellow cap and scarf ensemble to brave the weather. He also comes with a large plastic snowboard with vinyl foot straps.
The snowboard is emblazoned with "Snoopy" in small letters on the top and very large letters on the bottom.
That's so when he gets big air, everyone looking up knows its him. 😎
In this moment, it's all the other Peanuts collectibles watching in awe as Snoopy completes his jump.

A year of the shows and performers of the Bijou Planks Theater.
In our toy collecting, plush is not a strong point and that remains true for our Peanuts collection. The 2001 'Many Lives of Snoopy' series from McDonald's Japan is a plush series that we featured from 2020-2021. Because each plush figure was themed, it was easy to create specific scenes.

Also, in Japan we did pick up a nice series of small plush, about 16mm. These plush seem to have the same origin though there are different tags. The Law Label (The label that is sewn to plush toys containing copyright and materials information.) always has 'Peanuts' and a copyright for United Feature Syndicate. The cardboard tag labels vary with many carrying the 'RM' label. All of the plush were manufactured in Hong Kong. So, we think a Japanese company (Perhaps Nakajima Corporation) manufactured these and released them to various distributors.
Most of these plush have no distinguishing themes or names but rather standard figures released in a variety of colors. We've photographed a couple from this series here:

So, rather than creating scenes with stories, we decided to feature these lovely plush among the Peanuts collection and provide some fun information.

Snoopy's brother Andy is a bit shaggier and scruffier than his siblings.
It's unusual to find Andy represented in the various Peanuts toy lines, so we are very happy to have this Andy plush.
Andy first appeared in the Peanuts animated television special Snoopy's Reunion which first aired on CBS on May 1, 1991. In Snoopy's Reunion, Snoopy meets up with all of his siblings, including Belle, Spike, Olaf and Marbles, who had previously appeared in the comic strip, and Molly, Rover and Andy who had not. Andy plays the drums in the program.
On February 14, 1994 Andy made his first appearance in the comic strip, visiting Snoopy in the hospital. In that appearance he is accompanied by Spike and Olaf. Andy would be accompanied by his brother, Olaf in all subsequent appearances.
In May 1994 they were first depicted living together on a farm, where they spend most of their days leaning against the barn and asking each other questions about life.
In June 1997, they arrived at Snoopy's house, having moved out of the farm, and asked for help finding a new home. After spending a few days, Snoopy suggested they move in with Spike out in Needles. The pair proceeded to get hopelessly lost (at one point even passing by Spike and not seeing him) and periodically returned to Snoopy's house at least once a year all the way until the strip's final year.
During their occasional visits, they frequently had run-ins with Rerun van Pelt who would try to adopt them as his dogs and usually getting foiled by his mother. These instances were adapted in the 2003 special I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown.
Andy also received a brief mention in the February 29, 1996 strip where Lucy suggests Snoopy try writing a story about one of his siblings, particularly what made them different. Snoopy simply writes, "Andy was fuzzy."
Andy looks similar to Snoopy but has longer, shaggier hair. His appearance is modeled on that of a wire-haired fox terrier named Andy that was owned by Charles M. Schulz.

The UFS Academy, or UFSA, is the primary training facility for UFS personnel. The time they spend with the Academy is seen by many to be one of the best and most fulfilling experiences UFS has to offer. Once graduated from the Academy, cadets are eligible to be commissioned as officers or enlisted in UFS.
UFS Academy also offers a wide and ever-growing curriculum of classes and fields of studies for the further education of all officers - from Ensigns to Admirals.
In my opinion, United Federation Starfleet’s Academy features over 240 well written classes by its members. These classes are well organised and curated into branch and career tracks with self learning, practical and roleplayed classes. A perfect resource for the Star Trek fan! I certainly enjoyed reading up on my favourite topics - flying a starship, its propulsion systems and ship resource management.

The Shogun was in pursuit of an unidentified vessel that attacked us with psionic weapons last week. The attack left one crew dead. We picked up a signal that led us to the recovery of a damaged shuttle manned by Dr Fargus Skytower, coincidentally a former crew of the old Shogun from more than 30 years ago.

Three days during, the bells desert our churches. They leave in pilgrimage to Rome. And what will they pay to us in travel souvenir? eggs of Easter, of course!
A little history….
Difficult to say from which this tradition comes. Would a survival of ancient beliefs where, for some civilizations the eggs have been symbol of life and for others, symbol of death? A perfect illustration then of the Easter which celebrates all at the same time the crucifixion and the resurrection of Christ. There exists another version, plus ground with ground. The Church prohibited a long time the consumption of ufs during the Lent. What to make with the rupture jeûn of it? To run out them more easily, a good means: to offer. And to even make gifts of them. Hard or emptied to be preserved better, they then are avoided, decorated, equipped with thousand imaginations according to the areas. The habit is spread in France as of the end of XVI century and becomes soon a must. The eggs, miniaturized tranforment in jewels of gold, invaluable stones. Most famous are of course those of famous the jewellers Fabergé, attache at the court of Russia.
Today, the eggs of Easter are generally made of chocolate and one will not complain any.

I don't remember much about this place. It was the lesser of Dunfermline's two bus stations, nestling in the shadow of the abbey. Its spatial relationship to the rest of the town I have forgotten, and I can't remember walking here, or by what route I came. It was such a tuppenny-ha'penny affair that you couldn't help wondering why its separate existence was thought necessary, and why some beady-eyed accountant hadn't proposed that it be closed and its services transplanted to the larger establishment up in the town ...which didn't exactly appear to be bursting at the seams. Still, as a lover of all that was anomalous and irregular I entirely approved, and even then, already in my mid-twenties a hopeless reactionary obscurantist, I would have conferred upon it my good wishes and hopes for its continuance ...which I am sure it would have regarded with complete indifference and contempt, what with my being a visiting Sassenach, just off the sleeper. I'm sure someone will tell me that my hopes for its future prosperity were long ago disappointed.
The bus I recorded as a Volvo Ailsa AB57, bodied, of course, by Alexander. It wasn't my cup of tea really ...quite the opposite in fact. These were the boxes-on-wheels that were rapidly replacing the lovely old half-cabs I'd grown up with and which had been a daily component in my life since boyhood. Admittedly these were a little more elegant than most OMO double-deckers and, a driver myself now, I wished we could've had those nice cab doors on our buses down in Bristol. I'd have loved to lodge my toe-cab in the foot-step and haul myself aloft, causing the bus to rock a little on its springs; it would've looked so much better than slipping in through the passenger doors ...always a difficult operation to accomplish with dignity when carrying a machine box and with a rolled-up newspaper lodged under your armpit. It looks as though buses were still required to reverse to their stands ("stances", I think, in Scotland), as was done in the days of rear entrances. I'm sure there must have been good operational reasons. The photo was taken on Saturday 7th May 1977.
