Das Unterseeboot U-461 gehört zum sowjetischen Projekt 651. Es ist das letzte noch existierende Boot dieser Klasse der größten jemals gebauten konventionellen Unterwasser-Raketenkreuzer. A class 205 submarine on display at the Deutsches Marinemuseum (German Naval Museum) in Wilhelmshaven.
The 205s were small submarines tasked with surveillance and offensive operations against surface units in the Baltic and North Sea. Main area of operations was the Baltic.
After the collapse of the Warsaw Pact they became basically obsolete.

Die Nacht auf den 15. Mai verbrachte der Transport von U17 in Lahnstein. Knapp zwei Stunden nachdem der Transport Lahnstein am frühen Morgen verlassen hatte, erreichte das U-Boot Boppard auf dem Weg durchs Mittelrheintal.

Auf dem Weg von Kiel zum Technik Museum Sinsheim Speyer machte das U-Boot heute Abend Rast in Duisburg an der Anlegestelle "Mercator Insel" im Hafenmund des Duisburger Hafen.

On the way from Kiel to the Technik Museum Sinsheim Speyer, the submarine made a stop in Duisburg this evening at the "Mercator Insel" landing stage in the mouth of the Duisburg harbour.

Die CLR 229 181 war am besagten Mittwoch mit einem Kesselzug nach Holthausen unterwegs und wurde in einer passenden Wolkenlücke bei Lindhorst aufgenommen.

Am 22.08.2021 war 229 181 mit einem Sonderszug auf der Schwarzatalbahn unterwegs.

In den frühen Morgenstunden des 17. Mai passierte U17 Boppard am Rhein.
Nach Sinsheim ins Technikmuseum wurden schon andere schwere Exponate wie ein 44 Meter langer Seenotkreuzer transportiert. U-Boote auf dem Rhein sind eine echte Seltenheit.
Ich hatte erst mir einen erhöhten Standpunkt ausgesucht, um ein bisschen auf den Transport drauf zu schauen. Leider war es ein sehr trüber Morgen.

Mein größter Feind die Quellwolken hat wieder zu geschlagen. Kurz vor der Durchfahrt des Sonderzuges bildeten sich ein paar riesige Quellwolken vor der Sonne. Zum Glück hatte die 229 knapp 15 Minuten Verspätung und die Wolken öffneten für einen kurzen Augenblick sich passend zur Durchfahrt in Heissum.
My greatest enemy the cumulus clouds have struck again. Shortly before the nostalgic train passed through, a couple of huge cumulus clouds formed in front of the sun. Luckily, the Class 229 was almost 15 minutes late and the clouds opened up for a brief moment, when the train passed Heissen.
