The post office was established February 12, 1833 and discontinued May 31, 1960 when it became a Rural Box of Millersburg. Scott U277 stamped envelope to BOOMER & BOSCHERT PRESS CO., 96 West Water Street, SYACUSE, N. Y. Return markings on left "If not delivered in 10 days, to be returned to, Spelman and Miller, Benton".
