This happy dog celebrates Woodstock Whitefish during this years Winter Carnival in Whitefish Montana. 2019 marks the 60 year anniversary of the nordic themed Carnival. This year is also the 50th anniversary of Wioodstock, the 1969 iconic music festival. This year’s Winter Carnival was a salute to Woodstock. Besides the normal viking costumes, there were plenty folks dressed in tiedye and vintage clothes from 1969. Some people combined hippie and viking garb, all in good fun. So as the dog says, “Peace, Baby”!

. . . Now that everyone is kicked off the beaches, I guess I can post some beach shots taken from our balcony a few weeks ago. Just before the sun set one evening, these three strolled along a calm Gulf!

i know, i know...i have NO lashes!!! ((hehe))

a lightroom photo (i.e. a photo taken on my mac's built-in camera) for my 365?! ... but it's better than nothing. and look ma, no makeup! as natural as can be. and wtf, even though my eyes change from green to blue, vice versa, all the time, they look super blue here. so that's fun.

i am so beat from traveling that the prospect of unpacking my nikon today is out of the question! lots to catch up on back here, like bills and stuff for school... and sleeping. mmmmm sleeeeeep. and food! my new favorite cereal is quaker cinnamon life. honey nut cheerios are a close second, and may reclaim the top spot, but for now, yeah, cinnamon takes the cake. or the cake is made of cinnamon. i'll stop talking now.

Artistic? No. Worth posting? Beyond a doubt.

I got a new tri-pod today! I'm happy! Farewell to Dad's old fall apart tri-pod...you are no longer needed.

Auntsmack4u around 1991. Full on hippie chick mode, sporting tyedye that boyfriend at the time made and would sell at dead shows. - fabulous.

This was taken somewhere on the Blue Ridge Parkway as it was a girlfriend roadtrip down south!!. It was very evident that us new yorkers were a bit of place, but we had a blast!!. We discovered that Dollywood is a "dry town" and in one place we were told "the minister doesn't allow alcohol". Note to self - always pack a cooler.

ya so the colors are a little much but I like it better that way :)

I want to be forever young. When I was little I always wanted to be older. I would play dress up with pretty princess dresses and crowns and literally everyday I would pretend I was older. I miss having real friends that want to hangout with you and not having to worry about everyone wanting something from you. Now that I'm 19 and all those real life decisions are being thrown at me, all I want to do is take a really long nap and/or take photos to take my mind off of things.

I think thats why I like surrealism so much. I can pretty much create whatever I feel, and I don't really care what people think. A lot of my photos have been criticized harshly but whateves, I'm going to keep on creating.

I've also gotten A LOTT of new contacts lately, so I would just like so say thank you to everyone who follows my work on here <3 Flickr is forever my favorite place to post. I found some of the most inspirational photographers on here and have gotten a chance to even meet some. So that means a lot.

So anywho the photo story. So I just finished getting my whole kooky oufit on, setting up the tripod, getting the guitar and everything for this photo when my dad says to me "Just so you know Ruby the guy who's coming the fix our phone will be over in a few minutes" So I had to scramble to get everything quick picked up and change into my jeans and everything and I finished just in time! So then he left and got everything set up again and took this!! And the whole reason I took it in the first place was because I was sitting on my computer listening to Hello Brooklyn by All Time Low and this photo just kind of popped into my head!! I know that it's a little over edited but that was kind of the point!!

Ooooh and I have to thank my brother for borrowing me his guitar!!

I just wanted to thank you guys so much for making this my 40th photo in explore and getting it down to #3!!!! :D
