It quickly became apparent that the Maserati brothers had hit on a winning formula with the OSCA. Stirling Moss and Bill Lloyd drove one to first overall at the 12 Hours of Sebring in 1954. Subsequent versions ranged, in terms of output, from 750cc inline-fours to 2,000cc sixes. Moreover, unlike most of the people who were producing comparatively affordable performance specials in Italy during those years, most notably Abarth, the Maseratis didn’t start out with somebody else’s production car, such as a Fiat or Alfa Romeo. The OSCA was almost entirely theirs from the ground up. This 1956 MT4-TN–the TN stands for “Tipo Nuevo”–is one of an estimated 25 that OSCA built that year with all-aluminum, integral-headrest Morelli bodywork, just 13 of which were also assembled with the Maserati-designed 1,491cc twincam four, which produced 135hp through a ZF four-speed manual transmission, and utilized a cast-iron block and aluminum twin-plug cylinder head, breathing through dual Weber 40 DC03 carburetors. Its premium-quality internal pieces include billet connecting rods and crankshaft.

If a car engine could be beautiful then this 1962 Aston Martin DB4's engine would have to be high on that list. And, it's external beauty is matched with what's inside under those polished twin cam covers. The engine, a 3.7 liter twin overhead cam inline 6, and was designed by Polish race driver, Tadek Marek. And with it's twin SU carburetors it produced a healthy 240hp and 240 lbs-ft torque @ 4200 rpm. The car was capable of 140mph, not too shabby by 1962 standards, or even by 2025 standards for that matter!

The MGA is a sports car that was produced by MG from 1955 until 1962.
A high-performance Twin-Cam model was added for 1958. It used a high-compression (9.9:1 later 8.3:1) DOHC aluminium cylinder head version of the B-Series engine producing 108 hp (81 kW; 109 PS). Due to detonation problems, a 100 bhp (75 kW; 101 PS) low-compression version was introduced later. Four-wheel disc brakes by Dunlop were fitted, along with Dunlop peg drive knock-off steel wheels similar to wheels used on racing Jaguars, unique to the Twin-Cam and "DeLuxe" MGA 1600 and 1600 MkII roadsters. These wheels and chassis upgrades were used on a small number of the "DeLuxe" models built after Twin-Cam production came to a halt. Aside from the wheels, the only outside identifier was a "Twin-Cam" logo near the vent aside the bonnet. A careful look at the rear wheel vents would also reveal another feature unique to Twin-Cam and DeLuxe: those four-wheel Dunlop disc brakes mentioned above.
2,111 (2,210 according to some) produced.
An open car was tested by The Motor magazine in 1958 and was found to have a top speed of 113 mph (182 km/h),

Never seen an 'SE' spec before. Must be rare. I love seeing the NX's. I just wish I could find the 'shooting brake' version with the wagon like back piece.
