In the 15th-century Midhope belonged to the Martin family. During the latter 16th century, the castle belonged to Alexander Drummond of Midhope, brother to Robert Drummond of Carnock, Master of Work to the Crown of Scotland. A stone inscribed "AD 1582 MB" commemorates Alexander and his wife Marjory Bruce, daughter of Robert Bruce of Airth.

In 1678, Midhope was given a facelift when an entrance tower was removed and the extension to the east was heightened and extended. A new doorway was added along with a small courtyard, measuring 114 by 61 feet (35 by 19 m), to the south.

Midhope Castle is featured as a location in the Outlander TV series on Starz as the main character's, Jamie Fraser, family home called Lallybroch but also known as Broch Tuarach.

On/Off - Thank you very much for your visit and comment! I really appreciate it!

Pam: Tell them your opening line.

Jim: [sighs] Hey David, how would you like a guy who’s not here as much, gets paid the same amount of salary, and has bigger fish to fry in Philadelphia?

Pam: I think it’s good. He likes fishing.

Jim: This is gonna be awful.

This is inspired from the TV Series The Office. This is Adams all time favorite series that he got me addicted to and we spent month after month and hours on hours watching the series from Season 1 to the Finale. He definitely made me a super fan of the show as well!

This is my submission for this month's #AdamsPhotoChallenge.

For the 😄 HaPpY CrAzY Tuesday 😄 theme: "Childhood Memories", I present to you: 'Bromsnor' (however without his mustache).

He was the old-fashioned constable from a TV children's series 'Swiebertje'.

In the street where I lived, was one older single lady and only she had a tv in that time. All the children went to her place on Wednesday afternoon to watch this series. It was fun ;-))

Swiebertje is a series of Dutch children's books, written from 1936 by John Henri uit den Bogaard, and a Dutch television series based on the books, broadcast by the NCRV in the 60s and 70s.

'Swiebertje' is a "lovable vagabond". During his wanderings, he always got in trouble. 'Bromsnor' seized every opportunity to lock Swiebertje in the 'cage under the tower', without any clear form of trial. Often there was a misunderstanding in which Swiebertje was falsely accused of something, but it always ended well.

"Bromsnor" was quite grumpy, but also had a big heart in the right place. In real life he had a black mustache and absolutely no red hair and wearing two shoes, unlike this figure (artistic freedom shall we say? ;-))

However, over the years, the red moustache has disappeared...... and to my big surprise there was a sensual mouth underneath. But also the rest of the body and clothing are subject to the ravages of time.

He is sitting on the floor in an old bathroom, that will be renovated soon. What to do with Bromsnor……..?

Happy Crazy Tuesday everyone ;-))

My son love to collect statues and action figures and he bought this gift for both of us for Christmas. I love this little alien! This is a life-size figure of Grogu (The Child) of the Mandalorian tv series. He's grabbing the silver shifter knob from the space ship. I know some of you don't know about the series, it's OK. All the photo is less than the size of a credit card. Soon I'll post the full statue. For info and hand/ figure measurements:

I've often thought that this Batmobile was the prettiest. All those movie versions are just plain ugly. There, I said it. And I'm sticking to it.

I was digging through some papers the other day and found an Amazon gift card I'd forgotten about. And voila! I now own a Batmobile!

Warning - there will be more pictures to come.

Seen near Bergstraße 26, Hamburg.

“Port Devine” with the harbour looking a little ruffled in Storm Barra. The town is really Donaghadee.

It's a quote from TV series "Fr. Ted".

"Yeah, well, your friend's been tormenting villages. And I have an arrow with his name on it. See you around, Tower Girl."

This is my eighth tribute to "Once Upon a Time" TV series (the previous one with Dorothy, Mulan and Ruby is here, and you also can check an album here)! Well, I finally found some use for Grawp from Harry Potter set. xD Since I mentioned little Robin when I did my portrait of Zelena the Wicked Witch, I thought it would be nice to make a tribute to her as well, and, of course, to Alice, since I like second in-universe version of Alice from Wonderland much more than the first one (from the "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland"). No offense, first Alice was cool too, but, as Red Queen put it , "together you two [Alice and Cyrus] are absolutely unbearable", and I couldn't agree more. xD

So, here's Robin (aka Margot in Hyperion Heights), the daughter of Robin Hood and Zelena, who is eager to prove herself worthy of her late father's legacy, so she was on a quest tracking down the giant, who was destroying villages. The problem is, that giant is a friend of Alice (aka Tilly in Hyperion Heights), the daughter of Captain Hook from the Wish Realm (not to be confused with Hook from the main timeline - yes, season 7 was that complicated) and Gothel, so she tries to stop Robin, and then the angry crowd from the destroyed village tries to get rid of Alice. That's when Robin realised that being Robin Hood means to protect those who need it, so she stood up to protect Alice. Later they both discover that actually the giant was created few years ago by Alice's magic when on her birthday she wished to escape the tower (which she wasn't unable to leave since her birth due to spell, which was originally cast on Gothel), and now he appeared again and was looking for her because it is her birthday and she wished not to be alone. So then Alice felt she's finally free from the tower and said it to the giant, and he turned into the stone giant (the one we also see in Hyperion Heights - which is, by the way, a real world statue, The Fremont Troll in Seattle, WA).

I think Luna's face fits Alice cause they both a bit mad. Like she said, "My papa used to say all the best people are mad." ;)

Donaghadee, and it is rather devine.

With the Mull of Galloway, in Scotland, visible in the distance.

Wandering about in Crescent Beach, Surrey, B.C. today and came across a film crew setting up for shooting scenes for a new Netflix series "Trinity". The E type Jaguar parked on the street is obviously a prop for the scene.

Portmeirion is a tourist village in Gwynedd, North Wales. It was designed and built by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis between 1925 and 1975 in the style of an Italian village, and is now owned by a charitable trust. The village is located in the community of Penrhyndeudraeth, on the estuary of the River Dwyryd, wiki

I recently saw the Netflix series Sweet Tooth and, while I'm not much into TV series, the first episode gave me a brilliant idea to build a new cabin in the woods.

And so here is the house of Gus, the half-deer "hybrid" child main character of the series, and of Pubba, his alleged father.

There are a lot of details and "part usage" that I have used in my previous builds and I enjoyed putting them all into this diorama.

Gus has the head of the faun from CMF series 15. From behind you can see the ears and a hint of horns, just like when Gus was growing up.

The diorama consists of 5 small shacks that can be joined together and create the shelter of Gus and Pubba.

In the background there are a series of trees of different colors and with different shapes. The whole build is placed on a base made mainly of dark tan wedge plates.

On the right a deer shyly appears, Gus thinks it's his mother, if you've seen the series you know what I'm talking about.

More photos and information here. Hope you like it.

Perseus: Hey!

Batman: EH!? People continually... walking through... my Batcave!

Perseus: Sorry, didn't mean to startle you. Have you seen Athena? Does she hang out here?

Batman: No one... 'hangs out' here... this is the... Batcave!

Perseus: Well, I saw she was here! She posted on Paprichat!

Batman: Posted... Why are people... posting my... secret lair... on Paprichat!? And why... would Athena... have a camera??

Perseus: So, was she here?

Batman: Yes... she wanted... to see... the Eye of Agamotto.

Perseus: What is... no, never mind. So she's not staying here?

Batman: NO! No one... stays here... but me and... the Boy Wonder!

Perseus: Do you know where she's staying?

Batman: NO! And how did you... get in here??

Perseus: I just walked in, calm down. I'm trying to hook up with her. I know her from way back but, man... she was looking MUCH hotter in her pic from this place.

Batman: I don't think-

Perseus: I thought I might find her and we'd have 'Clash of the Titans' part two, if you know what I mean.

Batman: I'm sure I do not.

Perseus: Well, if you see her, tell her Perseus is looking for her. Or just call me and I'll come here.

Batman: She won't be here!

Perseus: And, what's with all the bat stuff? Did you run afoul of the Minyades?

Batman: *sigh*

"No."

"What is it?"

"The Wicked Witch. Let's go!"

Oh yes, I promised that you will see Ruby in human form one day, and it's time! ;) This is my seventh tribute to "Once Upon a Time" TV series (the previous one with Ruby as she-wolf is here), which is a tribute to Dorothy, Mulan and Ruby. :) They are ready to fight any enemy lurking in the forest. Which actually was Zelena the Wicked Witch, who was searching for silver slippers to return to her newborn daughter Robin, and so she took poor Toto as a hostage, but that's a long story...

I wanted to make some kind of a group portrait as a tribute to those supporting characters, because all of them are badass, so I created a mix between a scene when they were searching for Toto and a scene when they were preparing the cauldron with the sleeping potion. Well, actually for a portrait of female warriors it would be nice to include Merida as well, but even though she was Mulan's apprentice once, in this episode she wasn't presented.

I'm quite happy with the lighting this time, I hope you'll like it too! :)

A low-key and scenic location and the weather improved just as we got here :-) Sadly we'll be in this same area tomorrow - to take the ferry home :-(
