Erasmusbrug
De Erasmusbrug in Rotterdam is één van de meest bekende bruggen ter wereld en ook daarom een veel gefotografeerd object. Zeker, de brug is mooi, maar de beroemdheid van de brug is ook te danken aan de vuurwerk show met de festiviteiten met oud en nieuwjaar. Als vertegenwoordiger van Nederland komt deze brug op veel tv zenders over de hele wereld.
Ik kies er maar voor om straks een oliebol thuis te eten , die brug, ik zie 'm elke dag.
De foto: vroeg in de ochtend en zelfs hier ben ik niet de enige fotograaf.
Erasmus bridge
The Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam is one of the most famous bridges in the world and therefore also a much photographed object. Certainly, the bridge is beautiful, but the celebrity of the bridge is also due to the fireworks show with the festivities with old and new year. As a representative of the Netherlands, this bridge comes on many TV channels around the world.
I choose to eat an oliebol at home, that bridge, I see it every day.

When SL Green began knocking down a full block of prewar commercial buildings next to Grand Central Terminal last year to make way for its new 1,401-foot-tall office tower at One Vanderbilt Avenue it revealed this #vintage #sign for Sozodont, a popular brand of oral hygiene 😁product from the mid nineteenth-century. Sozodont was created in 1859 and its was chosen from the #Greek word "sozo", meaning to save, and "dontia", meaning teeth. We love its statement "Cleans Teeth Clean- Our Only Claim". Lenox Lounge in Harlem was founded in 1939 by the Greco family. It was named for its location on Lenox Avenue in #Harlem. Billie Holiday, John Coltrane and Miles Davis performed in this iconic #jazz club. Alvin Reed purchased the lounge in 1988 and restored much of its original #ArtDeco interior including the famous "Zebra Room" where live music 🎶 was played nightly. Sadly, #LenoxLounge was forced to close in 2012 after the rent was increased from $10,000 to $20,000 a month. Alvin Reed took the original #neonsign and much of the interior in hopes that he could reopen the club at another location but to this date, Lenox Lounge has not reopened. Was going through my collection of photos from last year. I first started photography when my friend David insisted it would be fun to go out and take some shots around town. This is from my very first outing with the camera, and I just like how powerful it feels. Just a uniform building in its simplicity , that just feels like it towers over you. The blue of the sky and the eggshell white of the building just reach out to me.
