Creating the Drop Shadow
7a. Make top "New Layer#3" invisible and select "New Layer#2" to make it visible and active.
7b. Click Filters, Blur, Gaussian Blur, and choose between 10-13 pixels, RLE mode.
7c. We have to Offset the drop shadow by either by clicking on Layer, Transform, Offset. In the X and Y settings choose 12 pixels and click Offset at the bottom.

not a large pic to work with like I would prefer, but if I explained it would open up a whole can of worms...lol...basicaly my graphics card isn't digging SL lately...
It's upside down in the pic, but here I'm going to pull the eyemec out on the side of her right eye. I use one hand to pull on the faceplate and the other to pull the eyemec in the other direction.
