I don’t know who ended up more petrified- me or Hero 🙈😂 once he starts those low growls when we’re alone middle of nowhere in the pitch black, all of my beautifully cultivated composure vanishes and I had hoped I was stronger than that by now ……so off we scuttled/fled to the car and drove all the way home as quickly as was legally possible 😁
No, it doesn't appear to be impressive; and it's off the beaten path, weather beaten, and tucked away in a corner almost by design. But if you stand close enough and listen closely you might hear the gentle hum of this "time & place portal", who's waiting for its next traveler. Who's to say you couldn't just step inside this portal and not be transported to another place, world, or even time. Imagine the possibilities. But remember, it's only operates one way, so think carefully before you step onto this portal.
But better hurry it might already have disappeared; gone with someone who took the chance.

I often think of what I'd do differently, if given the chance. More so, I think about all of the painful things that I have absolutely no control over...no power to change, that I simply wouldn't want to relive. In truth, if I could turn back time, I probably wouldn't. Instead, I'd revisit certain precious moments or special memories and watch them unfold again and again.
Don't we all wish we could turn the clock back sometimes.
I was starting to get a bit frustrated that I had no idea for my own chosen theme, but then I saw my daughters hourglass that she got for her birthday last week and problem solved. Its a very cool hourglass as its filled with iron filings and has a magnet in the base, makes great patterns, I may use it again.
It also reminds me of a little show that I used to watch many years ago ; )

Doesn't it fit the 1930s? That lived-in-for-centuries vibe?
Well, its a movie park. Actually more like a movie studio meets theme park.
If you remember watching "Lust, Caution" by Ang Lee or "Kungfu Hustle" starring and directed by Stephen Chow - most scenes from the movie were shot at this location... along with hundreds of movies and thousands of TV shows.
Why should you go:
Typical Tourist: If you're in the city for a while, its a different scene with museum minus the crowd.
Photographer: This is a popular place for wedding photography. That said, you can get many great shots here, of buildings, actors dressed up, etc.
Bored Expat: The Film Park hosts regular paintball skirmishes in the Summer-Autumn months. GET IT!
However, its quite far from the city center - about 2h30m by public transportation, 1hr+ drive. Worth the visit if you're living in the city! (Songjiang District)

Era il 30 Settembre 2011 quando questa foto fu scattata al leggendario studio di registrazione ‘Chem 19’ di Blantyre, in Scozia.
Lauren Mayberry era ancora la voce dei ‘Blue Sky Archives’, ignara del fatto che, da lì a poco, il suo mondo — e il nostro — sarebbe cambiato per sempre.
