I apologize for not being around much lately, but I've been as the old adage goes, "Running around like a chicken with its head cut off"; that there has hardly been any real time for flickr. Everyone wants their portraits done before Thanksgiving and well I think I've finally got everyone scheduled. This will probably be my last photograph till December 1, 2009 as I'll be traveling over Thanksgiving week. So I wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and I'll visit all your photo streams when I get back!

(otherwise known as Thanksgiving and yes we do have it earlier than our U.S. neighbors)
Turkish Airlines retro livery A330 TC-JNC names Kushimoto seen at its home base in Istanbul Airport ready for take off.
The plane is named after the Kushimoto village in Wakayama prefecture, Japan where the Turkish crew of the Ertugrul frigate in 1890 were saved, an Ottoman frigate that sank while returning from a goodwill voyage to Japan.
More than 580 sailors lost their lives when the frigate was caught in a typhoon off the coast of Wakayama, and subsequently drifted into a reef and sank. The entire saga became a milestone in historic friendly relations between Turkey and Japan.

Nothing like spending time with my family on Thanksgiving. After dinner we went for a walk around my dad's house.
If anything I am grateful for this Thanksgiving is this kiddo. She has truly won my heart. If I have a rough day she knows how to make me laugh. Every since she has came into our lives I want to make sure she knows her daddy loves her.

we dont have thanksgivingday today in germany .. (europe) but in the past we had " harvest thanksgiving" day. and it relates to past pagan (celts) feasting.
i know americans call it also "turkey day". ...
and that the president set free one turkey on this day.. one of millions ?
i don’t blame you if you don’t read this it’s quite long. if you judge people you have no time to love them. recently just had a wonderful experience that thought me a lot. he asks me as I’m walking down the street “any spare change?” of course i right away contributed and offered them food. i asked him for a favor; i asked him “what’s your story?” we talk for about 20 minutes and what stood out to me was at the end he stands up and says, “take his fucking job man. change this shit, change this fucked up world, you have the power to. i may look like a homeless man but I’m more at peace with myself than 90% of the people I see here everyday. do what you love, this world is yours, it’s all yours and don’t let no fucking person tell you it’s not, change this shit.” I cherish moments like this. #PeaceIsAStateOfMind
