Great place to visit:
A Ford Escape enthusiast (yep, that’s a thing) recently uploaded a photo to a Facebook group depicting a fresh coat of spray paint he’d added to his rims. In case you missed it, the “funny” part was that he had some old Magic: The Gathering cards laying around and used them for a buffer between the spray paint and the tire.
one of his friends noticed a particular card that had been ruined known as the ‘Black Lotus…’

Why is it worth so much? Black Lotus is from a set of cards printed very early in Magic: The Gathering’s history known as the ‘Power Nine.’ The cards from this set are considered to be among the rarest and most powerful in the game, and were only printed between late 1993 and early 1994.

And this is TTY's rant number 7: I get it... we are gay... but can we please stop the thumpy-thumpy music for maybe 5 minutes?! I mean literally, for 7 days its an endless barrage of name-that-diva circuit party remixes. 24/7. I suggest maybe taking it down a notch for breakfast perhaps... not all of us wake up first thing in the morning high on ecstasy.
This is the teletype or TTY as many know it. It ran at 75 baud. This particular model is a Kleinschmidt KSR (aka light encasement with Keyboard Send & Receive capability). To its left is the acoustic coupler modem where you inserted a telephone handset once you hear the handshake signal from the server which you dialed into.

The parts of the (illuminated) TTY-lock key. The plunger incorporates a small bar magnet (visible on top of plunger here), the white washer on the far right takes the space normally occupied by a ring magnet.
