This is my DIY gocco registering whatnot to use with the stamp kit.
1) Cut out a right angle frame of card based on half of a screen master frame.
2) Fit a sheet of acetate into the corner and tape so that it hinges.
3) Attach a thick sheet of paper to the long side of the frame (to blot the ink from the acetate).
This picture shows shows it after I have used the gocco stamp kit to print on the acetate (fitting the screen master carefully into the right angle).
I'm printing on a t-shirt so use the print on the acetate to line up with a placeholder stuck on the t-shirt. This will get the position of the print exactly right.
When lined up, I tape the frame down on the material and flip the acetate over onto the paper. Remove the placeholder from the t-shirt and print using the gocco stamp kit & snugly locating the screen master into the right angle - like I did to print on the acetate.
Once the ink has dried, I could go back and line up another screen on top of the first print. This is how I did the smelly fruit print.
Oh and if you want to know who Martin Jol is, and why he loves me - I'm a Tottenham Hotspur fan and it's a football song we sing about our lovely manager. The other side of the shirt says I heart Martin Jol. I couldn't use red for the heart because of that unmentionable red-wearing lot down the road. Never Red!
Just wrapped up a photo shoot for a printing and promotion company. These are buckets of ink used in the silk screen process of printing t-shirts.
