100 coots? Cetti’s warblers all around. A dozen herons or more. Grey and purple. Heron on water’s edge, immediately above another in a small tree.
Thursday?
Dozens of cattle egrets dozens of ducks
Red kite & a buzzard on way to Favaratx.
Cattle egret cloud: taking off landing taking off landing
Sun sun sun whilst Fornells is black. Seems to pass then I note the hill across the harbour disappearing.
Sa mesquida: The storm comes in with its own rainbow attached – why isn’t life like that in general? Or do I just not spot the rainbow? A double rainbow and some of it disappears behind a cloud. It is a huge storm and I watch for a long time. The shape of the rainbow and the front edge of the clouds that we can see are so beautiful in form. The cloud dropping its rain from high. The sea very quickly becomes agitated and looking further east into the darkenss of it the sea is very wild.
I sit against our outside wall and just feel the wind. Eventually after and hour or so I see that ot to sea is the wall of rain. We get the washing in!

Nothing really ever turns out how I want it to, or how I see it in my head, but I guess I'll just keep trying haha
