Approaching TRX on the SPE (Setiawangsa–Pantai Expressway).
The Exchange 106 tower dominates the group of buildings that are the TRX (Tun Razak Exchange). The project's developer is the now defunct state fund 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).
1MDB was at the centre of what is described as the world's largest financial corruption crime; about US$4.5 billion were stolen.
Intended to be a planned financial services centre for Kuala Lumpur, TRX now also stands as one of several huge memorials to the criminal corruption of former Prime Minister Najib Razak in the city.
Najib Razak is currently in prison after being found guilty in the first of several '1MDB Trials'. He has been charged with additional financial crimes with one trial ongoing and several pending.

...traffic at the roundabout slowed up after AY19 TRX passed me and a minute or so later it reappeared westbound having gone all the way around, then went back around the next roundabout to return east the way it had just come. Surely the driver didn't hold up the traffic and retrace his route just so I could get a better photo?!

This high-end shopping mall is part of the corruption tainted TRX (Tun Razak Exchange) project associated with former prime minister Najib Razak and 1MDB (1Malaysia Development Berhad).
There is a also a rooftop garden, TRX City Park.

The project's developer is the infamous 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB), the company at the heart of what has often been described as the world's largest corruption conspiracy and kleptocratic crime.
The project's developer, 1MDB was at the centre of what is described as the world's greatest financial corruption conspiracy; billions of US$ were stolen.
The complex is named for the second prime minister of Malaysia. The man behind the project is his son Najib Razak, the sixth prime minister. He was convicted of abuse of power, money laundering and criminal breach of trust in July 2020. He remains free on appeal.
