Aaaaand I forgot to take a photo! The is literally the only thing in my storage for today - a test edit for one of my photos from the shoot on saturday. I'm so mad cuz I was only messing around to see if what I wanted to do was possible, it's not even a good edit!!! D:

It was literally a test run to seeing I could make holes in my picture, then layer it over another picture so the background comes through, and then I was messing with the blue settings to see if they'd do anything (sort of but imma have to tone it down and make it more pin point).

Technically it was successful cuz it did what I wanted but this looks nothing like how I want the final edit to look.

Anyyywaaayy, anyone watched Truthseekers? This is my Astrid cosplay! XD

I went to be super early tonight and read a book to avoid looking at my screen, I've nearly finished colour of magic!

This newest by Xiamara has more spikes than a porcupine! The whole outfit came out of Xia (as usual) grabbing an opportunity to get up my nose: I was mouthing off to Bettina Tizzy about how I loathed brown to the extent where I did not even have a single brown garment in my RL closet, when she turned around and made this: A brown as brown can be outfit for men and women!

The garment takes its somewhat high falutin' name from the fact that all the textural elements used are art nouveau/seccesionist ornaments. And Xia insists that this is a floral outfit and I have to say that I can not disagree with her. Who said flowers were these cute little innocent things anyway? They can be soooo spikey...

Heartfelt thanks go to Truthseeker Young who gave us a set of amazing prim attachments which we have agreed to put to good use in a collaborative project in the near future. However, Xiamara could not resist utilizing the belt for this garment as well.

NatWest bank has frozen the accounts of state-run broadcaster Russia Today (RT), its editor-in-chief says.

Margarita Simonyan tweeted: “They’ve closed our accounts in Britain. All our accounts. ‘The decision is not subject to review.’ Praise be to freedom of speech!”

RT says the bank gave no explanation for its decision.

It said the entire Royal Bank of Scotland Group, of which NatWest is part, was refusing to service RT.

The broadcaster says NatWest wrote to its London office, saying: “We have recently undertaken a review of your banking arrangements with us and reached the conclusion that we will no longer provide these facilities.”

Ofcom backs BBC in Russian TV case

He added that in order to “keep the pressure up”, further sanctions against the Syrian regime “and their supporters” would be considered.

RT, which is run by the Kremlin, has previously been sanctioned by Ofcom for biased reporting.

This included claims that the BBC “staged” a chemical weapons attack for a news report on Syria.

The BBC won a case against the TV channel after complaining to Ofcom, saying the allegations made in a programme called The Truthseeker were false and struck “at the heart” of its obligations to accuracy and impartiality.

Ofcom ruled that elements of the programme were “materially misleading”.

On the far west side of New Delhi lives a small community of gypsies. Crammed into tiny makeshift shelters, they sell recycled trash to get by.

Because their settlement is "unauthorized," they receive virtually no benefits from the Indian government. No police protection, no clean water, no schools.

It would be a pretty hopeless place if it wasn't for the work of one organization... Truthseekers International.

TSI, dedicated to empowering the poor and marginalized in India, has started a small primary school in the middle of this slum.

Although their parents still have a hard road ahead, these kids now have a chance to thrive!
