Give a horse what she needs and she will give you her heart in return. They say a horse is a mirror to your soul --well, I like what I see in the mirror, this mare is solid and dependable who always brings me home safely.
I remember one time in the mountains we saw a cougar, I was the only one still seated in the saddle in the aftermath of it all, everyone else was left to walk back to camp after their horses dumped them and ran off and I don't ride her with a bit in her mouth.
This was taken with my iPhone right after she came out the trailer with that "where the heck am I look" I asked her to stand. I train my horses with words and love from my heart..
an embrace, a look that gets lost in yours. A heart that surrenders against your skin. A sweet moment of love and tenderness
