Der Botanische Garten in Berlin- Lichterfelde ist einer der größten Botanischen Gärten in Deutschland. Auf 43 Hektar gibt es etwa 22.000 verschiedene Pflanzennarten. Auf dem Gelände befindet sich auch das Botanische Museeum. Beide Einrichtungen werden jährlich von einer halben Millionen Menschen besucht.
Seit vielen Jahren veranstaltet der Botanische Garten den winterlichen Zauber "Chrismas Garden" Gebaüde und Landschaftten erstrahlen in den schösten Farben.
In diiesem Jahr ist das Lichterfest vom 16.11.2022-15.01.2023 zu bestaunen. Karten kann man online bestellen, sie haben ein Zeitfenster zu wann die/der Besucher*in in dem Garten Einlass finden. Das Foto zeigt das Tropnenhaus.

The Botanical Garden in Berlin- Lichterfelde is one of the largest botanical gardens in Germany. There are about 22,000 different plant species on 43 hectares. The Botanical Museum is also located on the grounds. Both facilities are visited by half a million people every year.
For many years now, the Botanic Garden has been organising the winter magic "Chrismas Garden". Buildings and landscapes shine in the most beautiful colours.
This year, the festival of lights can be admired from 16.11.2022-15.01.2023. Tickets can be ordered online, they have a time window at which the visitor can enter the garden. The photo shows the Tropic House.

Le jardin botanique de Berlin-Lichterfelde est l'un des plus grands jardins botaniques d'Allemagne. Sur 43 hectares, il y a environ 22.000 espèces de plantes différentes. Le musée botanique se trouve également sur le site. Les deux institutions sont visitées chaque année par un demi-million de personnes.
Depuis de nombreuses années, le jardin botanique organise la magie hivernale "Chrismas Garden", où les bâtiments et les paysages se parent de leurs plus belles couleurs.
Cette année, la fête des lumières aura lieu du 16.11.2022 au 15.01.2023. Les billets peuvent être commandés en ligne, ils ont un créneau horaire pour l'entrée des visiteurs* dans le jardin. La photo montre la serre tropicale.

La fresque du Marais est une collaboration en les artistes Missy et Stom500. Les deux artistes se sont inspirés du quartier du Marais à Schiltigheim pour créer un œuvre tropicale autour des plantes et animaux qui habitent ses lieux. Cette œuvre à été réalisée lors du NL Contest 2020 (Un festival International des Cultures Urbaines de Strasbourg).
The Marais fresco is a collaboration between the artists Missy and Stom500. The two artists were inspired by the Marais district in Schiltigheim to create a tropical work around the plants and animals that inhabit its places. This work was produced during the NL Contest 2020 (An International Festival of Urban Cultures in Strasbourg).
Letzten Sonntag waren wir im Botanischen Garten, von der Teichanlage hier ein Blick auf das große Tropenhaus.

Xylocopa latipes, l'abeille charpentière tropicale, est une espèce d'Abeille Charpentière largement dispersée dans toute l'Asie du Sud-Est. Elle est appelée Courtilière en français, nom dérivant de curtilis signifiant petit jardin en latin, en référence à l'habitat de prédilection de cet insecte.

Saona Island (Spanish: Isla Saona) is a tropical island located a short distance from the mainland on the south-east tip of the Dominican Republic. It is a government protected nature reserve and is part of East National Park (Spanish: Parque Nacional del Este). It is a popular destination for tourists from all over the Dominican Republic, who arrive in fleets of catamarans and small motorboats on organized excursions every day. The Island is famous for the natural beauty of its beaches, and has been used on many occasions by film-makers and advertisers looking for a stereotypical "desert island" setting for their film or product. It is promoted amongst European visitors as the setting for the famous Bounty chocolate bar advert.
The island was baptized "Saona" by Christopher Columbus, who discovered it in May 1494 during his second voyage to the Americas. The name was meant "... to honor Michele da Cune, Columbus' friend from Savona (italy). Columbus named Michele da Cuneo the first governor of the island.
The seas around the Island are rich in wildlife, with many species of birds and tropical marine fish, and there are large areas where natural sandbars offshore bring the depth to just a few feet. These are once again popular with the tourist trade, with small boats stopping hundreds of meters off the beach and disgorging tourists into the waist-deep shallows where they snorkel, drink and inspect the fields of starfish indigenous to the region.

Saona, situata nel mar dei Caraibi, in posizione parallela all'estremità sud orientale delle Repubblica Dominicana, è un'isola delle Antille di 110 km² di superficie, lunga circa 22 km e larga 5 km nella sua parte più estesa. Appartiene alla provincia con capoluogo La Romana della Repubblica Dominicana. Perlopiù pianeggiante, è una zona protetta facendo parte della riserva naturale del Parco Nazionale dell'Est, istituito nel 1975. È facilmente raggiungibile da Bayahibe, piccola comunità rurale di pescatori.
La popolazione si aggira intorno ai 450 abitanti, localizzati soprattutto a Mano Juan e in misura minore a Punta Catuano;
i locali vivono principalmente di pesca e vendita di souvenir ai turisti. Saona rappresenta infatti una delle escursioni più richieste per chi visita Santo Domingo.
L'isola è uno dei "paradisi caraibici", con grandi spiagge di sabbia bianca e acqua cristallina, ed è stata usata come set per numerose riprese con ambientazione tropicale, inclusi diversi spot pubblicitari.
Con molta pazienza però, lasciandosi alle spalle per qualche chilometro le spiagge frequentate dai turisti, si possono catturare scorci come questo.
Fu scoperta da Cristoforo Colombo il 14 settembre 1494 durante il secondo viaggio di esplorazione al Nuovo Mondo. Il nome Saona fu dato all'isola dal Navigatore in onore delle origini savonesi di un suo ufficiale. L'isola fu scoperta mentre Colombo, a bordo, al comando di tre caravelle con a bordo 98 uomini, la Nina, la San Juan e la Cardera, perlustrava la costa meridionale dell'isola di Hispaniola;
