From a walk on the beach on Friday afternoon. The sea was shimmering an amazing turquoise and the light stunning. You could see Arran very clearly. I did a series of these working with ICM and multiple exposures. Then did a bit of editing on Luminar and Affinity photo. I'm nit really sure what to make off them but I do love experimenting and learning new techniques.
When we were young and still in love
We didn't care what we were made of
Our eyes were set on a distant sun
It was shimmering gold....
Took a drive down to Troon last night to do some long exposure shots of the pier. The ballards make an excellent subject, prominent and striking structures just off the main pier. Was again hoping for a nice sunset however my bad run with weather continues and it was pretty grey. Sky tried to clear however at 9 pm a rain cloud gathered and I had to bail as the tide was getting to its high point. This was a few second exposure and I will post my long exposure with my formatt hitech filter next week. Thanks for looking and as always appreciate all likes and comments.
On the horizon is the island of "Ailsa Craig" it is famous for it's blue hone granite which is said to account for 70% of curling stones produced. The plane is coming in to land at Prestwick Airport.
