We took a little trip that started at the end of June and returned home July 18, 2021. This photo is one of many to be had along Hwy #1 as we headed for Shuswap, BC. We also visited Vancouver, Nelson, Creston and other spots. This was a chance to visit with family, break out from Covid and travel through parts of British Columbia. We also stayed in Kamloops where the temperature hit 46c. That is about 115f. Too hot.
While visiting my daughter in Texas one of my Grandsons had a field trip to the Crocodile Encounter. My daughter and I decided to go and see what it was all about and try to catch a glimpse of my Grandson. We all had a fun time and the weather was fantastic. I even held a snake and a baby alligator! They had lots more animals then just Gators and Crocs!

Watching this entertaining, monsoon sunset was a real "trip" in several ways. It was crazy, vibrant, and constantly morphing (thus the series of shots) so pretty "trippy". Hard to believe, but the total time from the first to the last capture was a mere 15 minutes. It also required a bit of a "trip" to get to a nice viewing spot. Before the seasonal Rocky Mountaineer trips between Denver and Moab, Utah, begin on April 16, the company is running three training/familiarization runs over the route. Today, March 28, 2023, the first training trip is shown returning to Denver at mile 14.5 on Union Pacific's Moffat Tunnel Subdivision. This location is just west of Leyden siding. Last year we made a trip to Scotland and London during the Easter holidays. We left London and took the amazing Caledonian Sleeper train and arrived to Edinburgh in a cold frosty morning (first photo in the comments). We are not used to that kind of weather. At noon we picked up a camper van to made a road trip to the Highlands. Our first stop was the amazing Cairngorms National Park. Really Really cold. We took a walk to the nearby Loch Morlich and we were witnessing a perfect dusk. The colors in the sky were amazing. You can see it in the second photo in the comments below. We had dinner in the camper van and we went to bed. At one moment during the night the heater went off due a lack of heating gas, and we were freezing. We woke up early and then, through the windscreen we were seeing the snow coming down. It was quite a moment. Kids were running in the Park, playing with other kids, and took another walk to the Lake, this time with a totally different view. No more colors in the sky or trees. For us an unforgettable moment.
