Road tripping to Michigan for fall foliage...:))

I took a middle of the week drive to Rockport last week on my day off from work. I just love the red Motif #1 fishing shack. It’s so simple and classic coastal Massachusetts. Happy weekend everyone!

...::: Beautiful Tango :::...

Beautiful tango, take me by the hand

Beautiful tango, oh, until you make me dance

How sweet it can be, if you make me dance?

How long will it last, baby, if we dance?

come to the world

And baby, let me show you things

'Cause time is running and we can lose

Baby, come and dance, we gonna make it through

'Cause we've got time

Yes, we've got time

Beautiful stranger, don't want to know your name

Beautiful stranger, oh, just take me by the hand

'Cause how sweet it can be, if you make me dance?

How long will it last, oh baby, if we dance?

Come to the place where the skin speaks

The secret words in Spanish

Where the night turns out the lights of day

For us to show some courage

So don't go, if you wanna know

Don't go, if you don't know

if you wanna know

Beautiful stranger, take me by the hand

Make me dance all night, I wanna take the chance

'Cause I love the way you move, and the way you

Put your hands on my hips are moving while you take it slow

Makes me feel like I'm on a river flow

'Cause we've got time

And yes, we've got time

Beautiful stranger, I wanna lose my mind

in the danger of your arms,

I want to lose myself

in the danger of your arms

Now you got me

Tripping on you, baby

Got me tripping on you now

This tree didn't quite make it ...

I've photographed this a few times before, but this shot was taken from the passenger seat of a moving car at highway speed, whilst borrowing my son's DSLR (thanks again Quinn!). Somewhere near Tunbridge, Midland Highway, Tasmania.

An outbound 'L' train passes by the highly reflective "River Point" building in the Fulton River District of Chicago, Illinois.

I went to a place I have only been to once before. That was a few years ago. I did more shots this time and tried to set up better this time. I admit though, that I should have used a tripod to use a higher F stop.

Hope you like.

Macro Mondays 28/11/16 theme Beatles/Beetles

For this theme I went with the Beatles 1969 11th studio album Abbey Road. The front cover shows the group on a zebra crossing, was based on ideas sketched by McCartney, and taken outside the EMI Studios in Abbey Road. For my idea I used tiny N gauge VW beetles (1" long and 1/4" high) as the band with beetles as the drivers and John,Paul,Ringo and George as the passengers. For the background I used some CDs and lit the scene from the front.I think I must have been listening to the Magical Mystery Tour album when I decided to do this photo.I'm still tripping....Happy Macro Monday everyone : )

Hopefully this counts as all 3 in 3"

To a misty morning dog walk from the beginning of May 2024 with the leaves on the lime trees showing & some of the daffodils still in full bloom. I think that the daffs are likely to bloom & fade earlier this year unless we get another cold spell.

Constructive criticism always appreciated.

Getting ready to hit the road again. The car is about ready and we are keeping watch on the skies above as the storm season revs up. Hopefully we will be heading out this next week.

Have a great weekend friends and I will try to keep up with your images as the opportunity lends itself.

Nearly 3 million day tripping coach tourists visit Rüdesheim a year. The picturesque town is an ideal starting point for excursions in the Romantic Rhine Valley where space impressive testimonies of the past Marvel at centuries are. The city center ist is a magnet for visitors and everyone who is searching for a variety of beautiful souveniers shops with colourful fun. The Drosselgasse is probably Rüdesheims most beautiful feature, it´s a tunnel like alley - so loaded with signs that it looks like it could be in China. This place on earth is probably the Rhine from it´s most colourful side. Numerous german pubs, filled with rollicking crowds are placed just a few blocks in any direction around the Drosselgasse and the Oberstrasse in Rüdesheim. This wonderful village on the Rhine is definitely a place to come, beside it´s vibrant inner city is Rüdesheim am Rhein the perfect starting point to explore the breathtaking Rheingau area. Petite Mort & Oubliette have another hunt happening over at the Witchwood sim, aptly called the Road Trip Hunt. I was also getting music festival vibes from the clothes up for grabs. There are 20 items in the hunt, each costs L$20 and there is no group join to take part. Just look for the Route 66 signposts to collect the items. I'm wearing the Navy Crop Top and Maxi Skirt.
