I started on this figure months ago, stopped when I reached the point of having to sculpt hair, and then finally finished it thanks to the accidental assistance of FANTXTIK.
Vash’s glove straps and coat are electrical tape, his hair is a slightly sanded LMN Kai piece and everything is painted with various details.
I also sculpted onto a revolver to make his gun, then painted that silver and black.
I’m now realizing it’s been two months since I last posted, so thank you to anyone who hasn’t completely forgotten I exist.
Vash the Stampede from Trigun (Mike Syfritt) and Millie and my Daughter 2011 Amazing Arizona Comic Convention
Vash the Stampede (ヴァッシュ・ザ・スタンピード|Vasshu za Sutanpīdo) is the main character of the anime and manga series Trigun
This is one of my daughter's fav characters.
So, these are done. I just want to change the cylinder in the Silver gun to a smooth one, but I'll probably take final photos before that. Question - Does the wooden background work?
I'm nearly finished the revolver from Trigun - Here the break action can be seen, exposing the cylinder
Three pairs of baddies from a sci-fi-ish wild West (slightly Trigun-inspired) are ready for some looting, L to R:
1-2. A duo Streaker and Striker pull off the most unlikely of jobs. Their tactic, "a strike follows a good streak", is as good as any out there.
3-4. The notorious couple Bono and Clada. Bono wields a devastating gun of long-forgotten technology, and Clada is a two-handed markswoman. Quite the combination.
5-6. Break-in specialists Tumbler and Cog have been cracking safes open for the past 238 years. Have been caught several times and sent to scrap (unsuccessfully).
"Love and peace!"
I'm nearly finished the revolver from Trigun - I just need a smooth cylinder for it. It's solid and weighty, and holds together pretty well.

Okidoki, here is the completed drawing. It took a lot longer than I had planned because I kept fixing errors and adding new things.
Oh well Tyra, Nicole hope you two like the drawing ^_^
A picture of Sarah posing with someone dressed as Vash the Stampede while riding on the light rail in San Diego. I didn't get a very good shot of it but he even has the signature glasses with the funky sides. Really well done costume!

I'm nearly finished the revolver from Trigun - When the topside panels are removed, the black Plant Cell is exposed. In the show, this is what causes the gun to turn into the Angel Arm, a devastating energy weapon that only Vash and Knives can use, capable of destroying whole cities and putting massive craters in moons from the surface of the planet.
aaah I swear I'll make something non-Trigun related one of these days
In other news, anyone who hasn't seen Trigun: Badlands Rumble needs to immediately. Because DONUTS.
