Saw this in my apartment's lobby while waiting for a pizza delivery, and realized I had some triangles for FlickrFriday
It was an exquisite 55-degree December Sunday, so I took my dog Kovacs to the last dog day of the year at the #MortonArboretum. Third time now that we’ve run into a coyote when I’ve been there with my dog. We backed up slowly under its unblinking stare; I’m sure it didn’t want confrontation, just making sure we retreated, but I was a bit nervous being there after that.

In New Zealand the majority of sub-marine cables and pipelines are marked on the shore at the point where they enter and leave the water. The use of the word sub-marine refers to cables and pipes that are under the water and is not about actual submarine boats.
Back to Rotterdam after 7 years. Even after a 6-day visit I feel that I missed many interesting spots and piece of architecture. Here is the captivating façade of Kyatcha, a restaurant close to Erasmus bridge.

Latin Name: Polygonatum multiflorum - Solomon's Seal
This is part of a spring floral series, showing some of the colours and plants in our garden in April/May/June.
A relative of the Lily of the Valley, its flowers greatly resemble those of that plant in shape and fragrance.
With its graceful arching branches, exquisite white flowers shaped like little bells and tipped with yellow or green, the Solomon's Seal plant is just the thing for the garden to usher in each new spring season.
The name originates from a mark where the stem rises out of the plant's rhizome that can often look like two interlocked triangles, the legendary 'Star of David' and the symbol of Solomon.
The stems can grow up to four feet high and look extremely attractive with their blue green leaves, each over six inches in length. These leaves will turn golden yellow in autumn, and at that time the plant will have blue berries.

Had a long overdue macro day, this morning. Any of the Blue or Green Triangles can make my day, as well as the related Swallowtails, Birdwings and Swordtails.

My son Sam and his sister, Emma, joined me over a long weekend roadtrip to the north end of the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. Along the way, they both came up with triangle ideas and suggestions. But on our only good weather night I happened to be on Shi Shi Beach. Some of these sea stacks screamed TRIANGLE to me. Of course, the nice sunset doesn't hurt. LOL.
Here's Mikul's triangle photo. And please don't fall for his charm or underdog demeanour. He has tons of contacts and his photos get many, many views. Why? - because he has great skill at taking and processing images. I'm lucky to have him as a Flickr friend.
