The new Indian census(2011), which put the population at 1.2 billion, has revealed an alarming trend. We went to go and do a beach shoot but it was too damn windy so instead of wasting a lovely sunset, we used our mate Rob's backyard!
As you can see in this image, the men’s department was able to join in the fun as well, receiving several new mannequins (only two of which are pictured here) as well as that fancy tall promotional piece for Target’s (relatively) new Goodfellow & Co. brand.
Why Cordova got all these fixtures in the first place, if it was indeed underperforming as the executives say (i.e. their justification for closing that store), is anyone’s guess. My two cents is that Target wanted to make sure they were in that store regardless of its profitability 1) because it’s a big store, in a large trade area, and should therefore reflect Target’s most current brand imagery (in fixtures, if not in décor!) regardless of foot traffic; and 2) in the hopes that perhaps featuring said current brand imagery might actually boost said profitability (unfortunately, it would seem this theory didn’t actually pan out). Synagogue in Kőbánya was designed in 1907 by Richárd Schontheil and built in 1909–12 under the direction of architect Antal Sorg. It is a monument of Art Deco in its Hungarian national romanticist version, with an impact by the Northern European variations of this trend. The building was sold by the community in 1964 and since 1989, it serves as a Pentecostal church, (Mindenki Temploma Gyülekeze). From: The Center for Jewish Art list of synagogues in Hungary.
