Mont-Tremblant offers 96 ski trails on four slopes, with the south side’s 3.7-mile Nansen run—the mountain’s longest and a rare feature—providing a good introduction to the sport. Even if you don’t ski, it’s worth a visit to the top of the 2,871-foot summit for an amazing vista of the Laurentians. It was freezing cold on top of the mountains with strong wind and snow. I was almost blew away…
Mont-Tremblant has cobblestone streets lined with buildings that mimic Montreal’s Old City but with vibrant red, teal and marigold facades and roofs. The pedestrian village lies at the foot of the highest mountain of the Laurentians and offers some of the best slopes in eastern North America. When I first saw it, I thought it was a fairy takes world, if you watch carefully, you will see the cable cars along the mountains near top...
Mont Tremblant is a year-round resort in the Laurentian Mountains of Quebec, Canada. The name of the mountain, Mont Tremblant, was derived from the Algonquin indigenous people, who called it the "trembling mountain." The summit is at an elevation of 875 m (2,871 ft), which makes it one of the tallest peaks in the Laurentians. An open-air gondola called the Cabriolet connects the upper and lower parts of the pedestrian village. The photo was taken on the most top of the mountains, any parts of body exposed to air were freezing cold…
Parc national du Mont-Tremblant is Quebec's oldest provincial park. With its six great rivers and 400 lakes and streams, it's a canoer's paradise.
Mont-Tremblant, Québec, Canada (位于加拿大魁北克省的Mont-Tremblant). It was a cloudy day until later afternoon/evening when golden light gently swept these beautiful ski resorts. Lured by the forecast, I had been waiting there for a while, imaging how beautiful it would be when golden light touches Mont-Tremblant. (panorama of 4 individual shots)

PLACES, where I find my PEACE...
The Canals of West-Flanders, Oostkerke/Damme/Brugge.
Where the trees dance on the rippling water, mirroring their majesty.
I am used to solitude, silence, peace.
A change is nice, yet it can become too much.
Sometimes I crave silence.
So we are off to Damme, now I must tell you, when I revisit my beloved Flanders, I have not really been unless I have not spent time here, our favourite spot.
A few miles from Brugge, you have the small town of Damme.
In the Middle-Ages, this used to be the harbour of Brugge, one of the wealthiest cities in the North.
Due to silt the North Sea is now about 25 miles out, but Damme retained it's reputation for good food and beer, wonderful old buildings full of the history of revolutionary Flanders.
Centuries later Napoleon saw the importance of the area and ordered a system of canals to be built.
I stood in the middle of one of the bridges, in Oostkerke, across those magnificent tree-lined canals.
A UNIQUE landscape that just goes on and on and on... A photographer's paradise!
Classified to the UNESCO Patrimonium.
Have a wonderful day, filled with love and beauty, M, (*_*)
