Part of the cleanup is to take care of future problems. We had three trees removed that were leaning toward structures. Another storm like Irma may cause them to fall.

Final standing part of the big oak tree being cut down. The tree had a lot of dead areas in it. It had also dropped some very large limbs causing damage.

We decided that two big trees just had to go. I am sad to lose them, but they had grown too big for our garden. As you can see, this one had grown through the phone lines and every time there was a storm, we were afraid that the thrashing branches would tear down the wires. We'll get much more sun on the front of our house now, so it should be less gloomy and the front garden should be less damp.
