Next to the split rock a spur road cuts off toward the river. I've seen this road on a map but never noticed it before. I wish we had time to explore and see if it goes all the way to the river.

Followup: walk down this road

Blue sky and green coconut treens at the Ngapali Beach.

Continuing downhill we ran across a tree that had a hard life and was twisted quite badly, but still growing.

Log crossing. I walked on the sticky hoarfrost as far as the middle blockage, then butt scooted the rest of the way because it was icy on the other end. Steve used water shoes to wade across.

Aamusta iltaa samaa treeniä!

Looking from Porthcurno towards Treen and the Logan Rock, possibly my favourite spot in Cornwall.

Yay!!! I got the books I ordered from half.com today!! I got Sublime Stitching (by Jenny Hart), and Last-Minute Fabric Gifts (by Cynthia Treen). There are so many cute things in those books! I only got a minute to glance through them tonight, but I'm going to try to put them to use soon!

Thank you! Thank You! THANK YOU! Our incredible volunteers cleaned from Merritt Boulevard to North Point Boulevard and included North Point Road today (4/6)! Over 170 volunteers arrived at Bread and Cheese Creek to clean the Willow Road Section of the stream, but they quickly met and exceeded this goal and cleaned up the section of North Point Road between North Point Plaza (Wal-Mart’s Shopping Center) and German Hill Road. As if this wasn’t incredible enough the continued cleaning in the stream until they reached North Point Boulevard! However, this still was not the end volunteers moved in the opposite direction cleaning up to Merritt Boulevard including the trash choked shore next to Merritt Manor shopping center! You can see through the photos the huge difference they have made! This totals over 3 miles of stream and a road that are now completely trash free!!! We have said it before and we will say it again No-one can match our incredible volunteers! Thank you so much for your incredible and monumental effort! Today we removed over 3.5 tons of trash (227 trash bags!), over 2 tons of metal that has been recycled, 23 shopping carts, 14 tires (one a huge tractor tire), 2 bicycles, 2 lawnmowers, a portable black and white TV, a section of wrought iron fence, an elliptical machine, and more! Our motto is “Together can make a Difference” and thanks to our volunteers, we are! Today was our must successful cleanup EVER thank you YOU!

We would also like to thank Gold's Gym Dundalk, Gotügo Portable Restrooms, The Caddy Shack, The Boulevard Diner, The Lions Club, Bob Long, & Entenmann's Bakery Outlet for all their donation of food and supplies to help make today so successful!

In response to my Christian background, this landscape responds to the three theological Christian entities and their ever-developing relationship with humanity, eg. The Holy Trinity: The Son, The Father, and The Holy Spirit. Holding tight to the personal belief that a higher force is not contained within the brick buildings topped with steeples seen at almost every street corner in my region, (South Eastern United States) I find that spiritual guidance can be found in nature. Embedded in this landscape, I've translated The Holy Trinity into physical representations: The tree represents the physical presence of Jesus Christ (The Son). The tree is weathered and holds tight through many earthly conditions as an example of sacrifice and humility. The Sun represents The Father our Lord. The Sun seems distant but look to the sky and it is there. What about when Earth is cast into darkness at night? The Sun is still present just as our Lord is present in the darkest of situations. Through faith, one can feel the comforting presence of God. The tree eclipses the sun which casts an intangible shadow on the crop below. There are two important symbols represented: The shadow symbolizing the Holy Spirit and the crop personified as humanity. The reaching shadows created by the branches of the tree seem to embrace the crop. Utilizing a play on words, I created a physical relationship between my natural sanctuary and the symbols of the Christian faith, Trinity now including the word Tree: "Treenity"

Antique dough bowl is not only gorgeous but extremely large, perfect to hang up in your farmhouse kitchen or to actually use to need dough in! I do not feel the photos I took do this bowl justice, it's much bigger in person and the deep rich hue and patina are much richer.

This bowl is being re-listed, last buyer did not pay, just stating this in case you are wondering why this same bowl shows up as sold.

Measures: 21 1/2" by 20 1/2" by 6" high.

Bowl dates from the 1800's, has a turned rim with is highly collectible in primitive treenware. Bowl is nice and deep.
