My sister wanted a tree-hugger picture when we came home from her recital.
Taken on a Polaroid OneStep express (it's ugly and green).
And leaf.
I held this thing by the stem, and the wind was blowing it all over the place.
But I like it.

Starring my cactus, Stella, and inspired by this song by Antsy Pants which you can hear by clicking here!
I'm not sure why, but I can't stop listening to this song today. It's quirky and fun!
And in the sea there is a fish,
A fish that has a secret wish,
A wish to be a big cactus
With a pink flower on it.
After years of admiring it from afar, Dusty finally got to see the Demag up close. I have always been sort of a tree-hugger, how did I end up with a child that loves this equipment? I look at the ravaged hills and see total destruction, he sees the wonder and marvel of the man-made machines, and their earth moving abilities.

Today was absolutely beautiful. The hoar frost was everywhere and the world was white. . . and I left my tripod at home. I used the top of my car to take this photo. I am always called a treehugger (which I am NOT, I prefer the prairies) so I thought for today's photo I would take a pic with me hugging a tree and making it snow on myself.
I am having some difficulties taking photos in snow white conditions so if anyone has any suggestions I would love it. I am been trying to use the manual settings only on my camera! :D
