Well of course I could have. I was trying to make it pretty with kraft paper and newsprint, plus the food boxes gave it three different shapes, although the cheerios box got little Jordan excited- she thought Cristin had just got a brand new box of the o's and that she would share.

We were so enjoying our visit to Door County that we decided to skip the letterbox gathering we had been planning to attend and explore some other areas of Sturgeon Bay. We particularly enjoyed Pottawatomie State Park and hiking on the Ice Age Trail.
Day 4 - Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.
Due to the soil conditions, trees grow very slowly. This tree could be over 100 years old, so it must be hugged more delicately than usual. Fortunately, this treehugger has experience in these matters.

A surprising find among the wintry whitewash today... it was the green that caught my eye.
This is the most common squat lobster in the Red Sea, but I'd never seen one yet. You can find them on the yellow softcorals at night. This one is missing it's left cheliped.
