Frog

Owen County, Indiana

I woke up to find a frog fastened to my kitchen window. He was an itty bitty thing, no bigger than the first joint of my thumb. It was about 5am and I wasn't really awake yet, so I didn't get a very good picture of him. I should have turned on the porch light and used the macro setting.

Check out those adorable little suction pads on his toeses!

Cope's Gray treefrog, Hyla chrysoscelis, is a species of tree frog which is found in the United States. This one was rescued as a tadpole from a drying mud puddle and raised in a 10 gallon tank. It now hangs out near my front porch catching insects from the glow of the front porch light.
