During and after the rain, many frogs (and cane toads) appeared. We saw this cute treefrog having a feast on the insects in this wood-chip pile.
We must really need rain if this little guy is hanging out in our hot tub. Found him clinging to the underside of the hot tub lid. Central Illinois
Found this male gray treefrog croaking near my pond after a warmish rain. First of the year treefrog for me.
Young gray treefrog. Lots around the yard this year (as you've probably noticed with all of the photos.) Probably because of the new beaver ponds out back.
This was where we spotted most of the red-eyed treefrogs - it was right by the pool & dining room so was easy to just pop in & have a look!
