We spotted this gray treefrog foraging in the grass on a hot summer night in St. Louis County, Minnesota.

This is from a locality known to have both H. chrysoscelis and H. versicolor, so it could be a Cope's.
We discovered that Hansen's Treefrog, Feihyla hansenae, ranges all the way to Bangladesh, though it had previously only been known from Thailand and adjacent areas.

Hyla versicolor. He's trying to blend with the green hose. But his chubby body was enough of a departure from the smooth hose to give him away. This morning, when I needed to use the hose, he jumped to the black hose reel and I was curious if he'd go to a gray color next. By the time I got back with my camera, he had worked himself into an unphotographable place on the reel mechanism.
This canyon treefrog is napping in a crevice on the underside of a huge boulder in Pima Canyon in the Santa Catalina Mountains just north of Tucson.
Got a new micro lens for my birthday today. Fortunately some interesting subjects were hanging around the house today. :)
