The Green Treefrog (Hyla Cinerea) is one of Florida’s native treefrog species. They are usually bright green with a white stripe that extends along the side of their body. When resting their body color can vary from yellow to gray. They are found in wet prairies, cypress swamps, and the borders of lakes and streams. They were once commonly found on windows sills of houses at night, but more recently they have been displaced by the invasive Cuban Treefrog (Osteopilus septentrionalis).

this is another shot in my project. C4D really needs some better z-depth pass solutions. Rendered in R11.5 without GI, just some area lights and some fill lights, with Chanlum shaders on leaves and the treefrog. Render was real fast because of this. I did the DOF with frischluft's lenscare and a fog pass in AE, but there were still some aliasing and edge problems that I tried to resolve.

I found this Red-Eyed Treefrog just outside our dorm room in Jalova, Costa Rica, in Tortuguero National Park. They have these weird web eyelids that cover their eyes when they sleep and when they wake up, not only does that come down, the eyes themselves just seem to POP right right, the size, the color, everything. It's amazing.

I was surprised to see this tiny Northern Gray Treefrog out in the open on such a cool morning. This was a very small individual, but interestingly it had more of an adult coloration.

Giant Monkey Treefrogs are a massive arboreal species that breeds in ponds and pools throughout Amazonia. They have noxious skin secretions that are used in the kambo healing ritual by native tribes.

An inhabitant of an interesting microhabitat - a splash pool on the edge of Lake Huron. I suspect that that growth of algae and tadpoles might be favoured in this exposed site. Along the Wreck Island Interpretive Trail.

Taken in Costa Rica. I have as yet been unable to positively identify this little fellow. Can you help?
