Black howler monkeys are one of the few primate species with different coat colors in males and females—a trait called sexual dimorphism, which is a broad term that includes differences in size, behavior, and other characteristics between males and females of the same species. Males have a black coat, while females are blonde. Black howler monkeys have a prehensile tail without hair on the bottom side, which they use for grasping during locomotion. The upper molars have sharp, shearing crests that are used in grinding leaves. They move slowly using a quadrupedal mode of locomotion and they have five-toed, grasping feet. The large hyoid bone (Adam's apple) that allows for their loud call restricts arm movement, so howler monkeys rely heavily on their tail for locomotion.

Its highest prominence is Monte Antenne with an altitude of 67 m (220 ft), an ancient archeological site.
During the summer, the park hosts the world music festival and the "Roma incontra il mondo" (Rome meets the World) festival against racism, war and the death penalty, an annual event since 1994.

I was originally enrolled into the GETTY IMAGES collection as a contributor on April 9th 2012, and when links with FLICKR were terminated in March 2014, I was retained and fortunate enough to be signed up via a second contract, both of which have proved to be successful with sales of my photographs all over the world now handled exclusively by them.
On November 12th 2015 GETTY IMAGES unveiled plans for a new stills upload platform called ESP (Enterprise Submission Platform), to replace the existing 'Moment portal', and on November 13th I was invited to Beta test the new system prior to it being officially rolled out in December. (ESP went live on Tuesday December 15th 2015 and has smoothed out the upload process considerably).
With visits now in excess of 18.637 Million to my FLICKR site, used primarily these days as a fun platform to reach friends and family as I have now sold my professional gear and now take a more leisurely approach to my photographic exploits, I would like to say a huge and heartfelt 'THANK YOU' to FLICKR, GETTY IMAGES and everyone who drops by.

Photograph taken at an altitude of Sixty six metres at 12:57pm on Thursday April 13th 2017 within Villa Ada Savoia, with a surface of Four hundred and fifty acres (1.8 km) it is the second largest in the city and located in the northeastern part of the city. Its highest prominence is Monte Antenne with an altitude of 67 m (220 ft), an ancient archeological site.
During the summer, the park hosts the worlde music festival and the "Roma incontra il mondo" (Rome meets the World) festival against racism, war and the death penalty, an anual event since 1994.

Here we see an adult Jay (Garrulus glandarius), the most colourful of the crow family, though very shy and seldon seen for long when humans are around.They mainly eat nuts and acorns, as well as nestlings and small mammals.

The fall of 2022 I did my 3rd major cycling tour. I began my adventure in Montreal, Canada and finished in Savannah, GA. This tour took me through the oldest parts of Quebec and the 13 original US states. During this adventure I cycled 7,126 km over the course of 2.5 months and took more than 68,000 photos. As with my previous tours, a major focus was to photograph historic architecture.
