C. siliquastrum is a bushy, deciduous small tree. Leaves to 10cm in width, broadly heart-shaped. Flowers rosy-pink, pea-shaped, in clusters on the older wood. Fruit a conspicuous flattened purplish pod to 12cm in length
Rumeli Hisari;
Rumelihisarı is situated at the narrowest point with 660 meters of the Bosphorus strait, just opposite of Anadoluhisarı (Anatolian Castle) on the Anatolian side, which is another Ottoman fortress that was built between 1393 and 1394 by Sultan Bayezid I.
The construction began on 15 April 1452. Each one of the three main towers was named after the Pashas who supervised their construction. The Sultan personally inspected the activities on the site. With the help of thousands of masons and workers, the fortress was completed in a record time of 4 months and 16 days on 31 August 1452.
Rumeli Castle after the conquest of Constantinople
After the conquest of Constantinople in 1453, the castle lost its military importance and served as a customs checkpoint until the seventeenth century and then as a prison until the nineteenth century. In the nineteenth century a neighborhood was formed inside the castle with its houses, mosque, shops, and so on. However, this neighborhood was destroyed in 1950s. Since 1960 the Rumeli Castle functions as a museum and this magnificent castle is open to the public as an open-air museum

Tree Branch and Children ~Polyvore
Mercedes Sosa who has died aged 74 last week, was the most renowned Latin-American singer of her generation; she was known as "La Negra" for her long, jet-black hair, and as "the voice of the voiceless ones", for her performances of songs which championed the rights of the poor.
"I'm not young or beautiful, but I've got my voice and the soul that comes out in my voice," she said in a newspaper interview in 2001.
One of the greatest women has left this world and I´m very sad about it.
My pic is a little dedication to this wonderful artist.

Plaza San Martín
Inaugurada en el año 1.939. Fue remodelada en el año 2.004. Es la plaza central de la ciudad.
Se destaca el diseño, las diagonales y la fuente.
En ella se encuentra gran variedad de árboles y el colorido permanente de las flores forma un paisaje único.
La ciudad de Buenos Aires tiene en distintas épocas del año, el color de las flores y hojas de sus árboles, pero lamentablemente sólo dispone de 3 m2 de espacio verde por habitante en contraste por ejemplo con la ciudad de Moscú que posee casi 40 m2 de espacio verde por habitante

Inaugurated in 1939. It was remodeled in 2004. It is the city's central square.
It highlights the design, and source bias.
It is great variety of trees and colorful flowers permanent form a unique landscape.
The city of Buenos Aires has at different times of year, the color of the flowers and leaves of the trees, but unfortunately only has 3 m2 of green space per capita in contrast for example with the city of Moscow has almost 40 m2 green space per inhabitant
A wonderful and thoughtful quote by Thomas Fuller. Every year for Christmas we purchase a live tree and plant it on our property for posterity on January the 1st. So many trees cut down. I wonder how many have been replaced?

Dance the night away
...For a beautiful dreaming
Meet your longing in a day
Like a daybreak beaming
Romantic feelings inside
That in night you found
Thru your day will glide
Till your dreams come around
Dance the night to heart
Find shades you adore
It’s a fresh morning start

All the moods in the hour
From a moon-lited night

This picture tells a story. The heart must be a proof of love. But the author must have loving grief, because the name is crossing out. Why? And what he felt, when he wrote this words? And when he crossed them out? How old is he know? Has he found another love? Or there was a happy ending?...
