The Devi Tree is only for sale at the Official Relay for Life vendor in my store. it costs 490L$ and 100% goes to Relay for life. That is why the tree has a little pink ribbon ♥

A lone tree, captured in the early morning mist, in the landscaped gardens around the ruin of Witley Court, Worcestershire, England.
Parrot is systematically eating all the inside ends of the flowers of this huge Coral Tree (Erythrina Lysistemon - Common Coral Tree).
Captured at MacArthur Park near downtown Los Angeles. These are the first flowers before Spring and the parrots waste no time in getting to them. The San Gabriel Valley and Los Angeles have a growing population of wild parrots.
A raven braving the cold January morning out in the trees.
Captured in RAW and processed using ACR and HDR toning in PS.
Lone Pine Tree, captured with a Wollensak 9mm f/2.3 D-mount lens mounted on my Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. The lens doesn't fully cover the camera's sensor, and it creates some crazy vignette.
Prompt: A vintage car parked under an old apple tree, capturing the nostalgic charm of early spring weather. Soft sunlight filtered through leaves creating gentle shadows. An elderly couple having a picnic with their West Highland White Terrier. The illustration is done in the style of watercolor.

This tree captured me as soon as I saw it. I dont know if I did justice to the "beauty" of it, but it was really amazing with its twisted gnarls...
It was also jutting off the side of a cliff - this made it substantially cooler, but I found the effect hard to capture!
"On the side of a hill as the valley explodes..." [U2]. All that happens in this photo was witnessed natural beauty, but sometimes it feels as if photography lets you create your own landscape. This can be my dream landscape in the Ardennes and it's called: TIME HEALS EVERYTHINGg
"Have you ever noticed a tree standing naked against the sky, How beautiful it is? All its branches are outlined, and in its nakedness, there is a poem, there is a song..." ~ Krishnamurti
This old, gnarly tree captured my attention as we were waiting for the sun to rise at Mather Point...the silhouette really stood out against the early morning light.
Hope everyone's having a great week...thanks for visiting & commenting!!!

Probably trying to escape the bobcat, the egrets were in a frenzy and in the trees. Captured this sequence during the frenzy.
Is it Friday yet? No???? Oh well ....
Happy Tuesday my friends ....
Dennis' lone tree capture, plus a friendly walkers shadow; I like the tree shadow too. It shows how the weather was brightening, the next day it was so delightful we didn't want to head home, so we stayed the day and did our own walk.
The Red-winged Blackbirds have migrated back this past week and this one posed nicely for me in this maple tree...
-- Captured with the D750 and the 80-400mm.
-- In the DX mode and cropped heavily after that, ending up with a 1 megabyte image... I think the image held up well after all that!
The tree «captured» us both, no doubt! We have been around her till the sun set and night fell. Only then, we came back home.
I will be away from Flickr these next days. Work is keeping me too busy and is preventing me from visiting your streams, I'm sorry! I hope I will be able to visit you soon!

Forest in the Veluwe near Vierhouten.
It made me wonder why I was attracted to it, and if others would see it the way I did. It was not beautiful, but a place of darkness and light at the same time. The photo turned out exactly as I ‘saw’ it.
This tree captured my attention as I was clicking the sunset. It
stood out in dark contrast to the brilliant colors around it. I feel
like we do that too, with God's glory all around us, but we feel like
we are in darkness. The problems in our lives seem so heavy and hard
to get through, and yet, if we look up, give glory to God, we may find
that light is around us, and hope is before us, and that our problems
aren't as horrible as we thought they were. May you find light in the
midst of your troubles, and may God's glory fill you with hope
