Aplocera plagiata or Treble-Bar moth

Taken for the Macro Mondays theme of hook. HMM!

After all the bird photo excitement I herewith present a view of (part of) the Southern Alps and Treble Cone skifields (dead centre in the image) across Glendhu Bay near Wanaka. I was after one of those magical red sky sunsets with no wind. But that wasn't to be this evening. However, I was very happy to come away with this beautiful image with the low sun's rays playing through the clouds.

Begins with T- first letter of my name.

By chance I found this tendril tunefully growing in my garden. The bokeh is sunlight shining through the rest of the plant.

Happy Macro Monday!
