Struggled with the heat haze, sea mist, harsh sunlight, wrong time of day, wrong time of year etc.......
However, the interesting subject makes it worth posting... I hope!
This is Tre'r Ceiri looking west down to the Lleyn, Yr Eifl on the right. Tre'r Ceiri is an iron age fort / settlement (constructed 100BC to Roman era) with approx 150 'huts' surrounded by two 2m (at present) high walls. It's an impressive site and well worth visiting.

A fantastic walk last year around the Tre Cime di Lavaredo in the Dolomites. We had a magnificent walk and stayed to try and catch the last light, before returning to the car park by head torch, we often seemed to b the last one's back . Lock up your mountain bikes is by Half Man Half biscuit. We usually had one day's mountain biking followed by on day walking, so a perfect title for this epic walk. I need to go back to the Dolomites again.
A trio of bighorn rams bedded down. They are a part of a herd of thirteen. Our beautiful world, pass it on.
Haru fue nuestro primer gato, un gato negro que adoptamos de pequeño. Él fue el primero, y mi pasión por los gatos negros se hizo sólida.
Siempre digo que era mi "familiar" como esos animales que los magos llevan de compañeros y que son parte de ellos, casi de su propia entidad. Sin duda mi relación con Haru tenía mucho de magia, y cuando se fue, con solo tres años, una parte de mi murió con él. Como esos magos, sin él yo era menos.
Un poco más tarde llegó Melo, que también partió demasiado pronto, el tigrecito más dulce. Cómo me hacía reír ese rubito de ojos de miel.
Luego vino Zuri, la gata gruñona que nos mandonea todos los días.
Pero también vino Benito, el negrito sin dientes, que trajeron desde el sur, rescatándolo de una muerte injusta.
Y luego, inesperadamente, apareció Jorge, con sus 8 días, a quien tuve que cuidar desde su fragilidad y ahora es un gato que pesa casi 10 kilos!
El último en sumarse a la familia es Gizmo, el más bandido de todos.
Estos dos negritos hoy son mis sombras, mis nuevos "familiares", la mitad de mis amores felinos en casa.
La foto de hoy me recordará que sintiéndome triste ellos estaban pegados a mí para darme paz y vida.
