Macro Mondays, theme: Geometry Shapes
A 96-well tray for testing biological samples, viewed under polarized light, and illuminated by the dim glow from pictures on iPads. Not to worry, the "biological samples" shown here come from a bottle of a fine French red wine.

A little dresser "pocket-stuff" tray that I made from a 5x7 sheet of copper from Hobby Lobby. Except for plumbing repairs, I haven't worked with copper since high school, so this was as much of an experiment as a project.

Watney's Red Barrel was a bitter which sold in the United Kingdom during the 1960s and 1970s, that would have been the last time I drank one, never my favourite.
I stopped by Mahoney's Garden Center on my way home today, and brought my camera inside. Abby was in her usual spot, a cardboard tray on the information desk. I took a few photos, then gave her good pats, focusing on the sides of her face. She's 13 years old, and spends her days patrolling the greenhouse area, and sleeping.

I already had a photo posted (of blueberries seen from above) but after seeing the exhibition, yesterday, I had to try this.
"The State Library of NSW is now the proud custodian of Max Dupain’s entire body of work, having just acquired the famous Australian photographer’s extraordinary personal collection containing his most iconic images – including The Sunbaker and Bondi, 1939 – as well as many never seen by the public!
“This stunning collection, known as the Max Dupain Exhibition Negative Archive, includes over 28,000 works spanning an illustrious 60 year career, and is arguably the nation’s most historically important photographic record of the mid to late 20th century,” according to State Librarian and Chief Executive, Alex Byrne.
The exhibition archive joins the Max Dupain and Associates archive of architectural and commercial photography approximately 155,000 images, as well as studio portraits and Dupain’s collection on the Ballet Russes, given to the Library after the photographer’s death in 1992."
I went out to Gaston Oregon on Saturday for the Wapato Showdown.. This is their yearly classic car show and I enjoyed it very much.. Every year I have gone it has grown and this year was no exception... I thought this classic Fairlane Ford was a hoot with the Food tray on the window and I don't know if the Teddy Bear is the car hop or if it was guarding the food.. LOL!! I have a hunch he was just waiting for no one to be looking so he could sneak a bite.. Happy Teddy Bear Tuesday, Everybody!!!!!!!
Saturday Self-Challenge
This lovely Tea Set was a gift from my in-laws when Stu and I got married. I painted the tray to go with the set.
This bamboo tray lighted up by placing LED bulbs on it. Switched off room lights and darken so the rim and background are dark to create this minimalist look.
Having Lunch at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
The Restaurant at the V&A is such a gorgeous place to eat.
