One of the more elusive reedbed residents has to change its diet completely in order to survive the long, cold winter.

Bearded Reedlings spend the summer months feasting on insects. However, to avoid having to migrate south in winter as birds such as swallows and warblers do, the bearded reedlings change their diet to reed seeds in winter. The seeds are extremely tough so the birds use a nifty trick to make the seeds easy to digest - they eat grit. Grit trays are provided at Oare and it is a good place to get a view of these beautiful birds.

A little dresser "pocket-stuff" tray that I made from a 5x7 sheet of copper from Hobby Lobby. Except for plumbing repairs, I haven't worked with copper since high school, so this was as much of an experiment as a project.

This lovely Tea Set was a gift from my in-laws when Stu and I got married. I painted the tray to go with the set.

I went out to Gaston Oregon on Saturday for the Wapato Showdown.. This is their yearly classic car show and I enjoyed it very much.. Every year I have gone it has grown and this year was no exception... I thought this classic Fairlane Ford was a hoot with the Food tray on the window and I don't know if the Teddy Bear is the car hop or if it was guarding the food.. LOL!! I have a hunch he was just waiting for no one to be looking so he could sneak a bite.. Happy Teddy Bear Tuesday, Everybody!!!!!!!

The Restaurant at the V&A is such a gorgeous place to eat.

[TWS] Tea Tray, has a menu with 2 sizes, Male and Female Bento animations. Simply click the Tea tray and a menu will pop up, select your tea and it will ask for permissions to attach. (unless you have the Avsitter Experience set in your land, then it will automatically attach) after 7min (420 sec) of drinking the tea it will automatically detach.
